WTF session
DustySwedeDude, Jun 25 2007
Just lost like 3 bi in a 300 hands session. I won in total less then 25 pots, the biggest on on 8bb and the biggest pot I lost was 40bb vs some retard shortstack who hit n' ran after that. Every pot was like "raise, miss, contbet, reraise from some dude, fold". Also, I got AA once, which was one of 5 times everyone folded to my pf raise. Got KK twice and the first everyone folded and the 2nd one I slowplayed vs a shortie with the plan on "c/r allin on any non-A-flop" and hit a set on the flop. Check/check, turn A, check, shortie bets, I raise, he goes allin, I call, he shows AA.
Overall a very frustrating and very strange session. I guess I could've quit earlier but beside me paying of a shortie who was allin 4 out of 7 times I saw him in a pot or something with 2nd pair top kicker I don't think I played that bad. I could've made some moves vs people who I think made moves on me but it didn't feel like I had the image for that.
Reacting to light 3-bettors

Reacting to light 3-bettors
I figured that I should write a bit on this subject since I've been doing a lot of thinking about it lately.
Anyway, some people thinks I’m pretty loose pre flop and has decided to reraise me light. This is bad. Historicly retards has just called me with inferior holdings (Axo, K8s and shit) even oop since they figure that they’ll be ahead of my range which of course is very abuseable. To handle a light 3-bettor is somewhat harder, but I got some insperation from CTS’s old blog; http://cts687.livejournal.com/14591.html. Basicly the math says that you’re about a 3-7 dog against QQ+ and AK with AXs and if you shove a range of a few AXs and normal monsters it’s roughly 4-6.
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 30.153% 28.99% 01.16% 53611440 2149290.00 { A5s }
Hand 1: 69.847% 68.69% 01.16% 127018812 2149290.00 { QQ+, AKs, AKo }
Hand 0: 62.689% 57.62% 05.07% 1770068268 155647536.00 { QQ+, AKs, AKo }
Hand 1: 37.311% 32.24% 05.07% 990510036 155647536.00 { QQ+, ATs+, A5s-A2s, AQo+ }
Assuming 100bb stacks and normal reraises you’ll pick up about the blinds + your raise and a reraise for a total of at least 17 bb and probably a fair bit more since there’s useally limpers, maybe a coldcaller and God knows what somewhere in the middle too. If someone cold calls the reraise you’ve actually got like 25bb in the pot, that’s 1/4th of a stack! The ev when someone calls you when you shove a suited A and get called is, as stated earlier, around 30%. This gives for a ev of -((700bb-300bb)/10) or –40bb everytime you’re called so if it’s 20 bb in the middle when you shove you’ll only need him to fold 2 out of 3 times to show a neutral ev from this play. However, since you will get a lot of nice side effects out of this, such as retards giving you action when you’ve actually has a real monster and decreased 3-betting from people who either figures out that they really can’t 3-bet anything that they won’t play for stacks other then as a bluff or just don’t want to gamble it up for stacks with AQo, you actually don’t need them to fold even that much to get it +ev in the long run. However, you’ll have to consider that there’s sometimes a bit less then 20bb in the pot which makes this play a little bit worse, but as long as the other dude reraises you somewhat light and doesn’t call your pushes with that much of his range it still a very good play.
Also, thanks to TalantedTom who answeared a few questions about this when I PMed him about it a week ago. I pretty much stole all the thinking from CTS blog too but I figured that some of you might not have seen it so I hope that someone could learn something from it since it was a real eye-opener for me.

5. Me not getting zee credit
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/210812
6. Valuepush with KK on A-high
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/209541
7. Riverbluff in reraised pott
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/209530
8. Another "WTF I dunno but he probably can't call"

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/207950

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/198570
Also, I'm up 4k + 500 bonus and probably a few houndred in rakeback for the month over like 13k hands. I did a big ass test the 4th and barely played before that so I'll try to get at leat 35k hands for the month. If I run good and my shots on NL400 that I might do goes well I might get my first +10k month. That'd pwn.
Also, I've got a sidebet with Gawuss going and I think I'm ahead :D:D:D
Another one of those days

KK vs AA two times, KK vs QQ one time but then he spiked a Q on the flop (Allin pf). A few random semi-setups, some lost coinflips and no really big hands for me. Down like 3.5 bi or something. Sucks. Whatever, I'm playing decent so it's not that bad. Biggest loser today was this one: http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/210584
Two pair on a oncordinated flop vs some dude who hadn't folded to a single contbet for like 30 minutes. Mostly a random cry-post but ehh, it happends. Finished like 10th in some MTT for 60 USD too, and that's nice I guess. Also, I should probably learn to make some big folds sometimes because I make to many "I'm probably beat but I've got blablabla"-calls. Those sucks.
Stuff I should learn
DustySwedeDude, Jun 09 2007
Top 10
1. Learn that sometimes people actually has something when they reraise me.
2. Not autopush any semi-decent draw just because I might have some FE.
3. Pay attention to image.
4. Stop playing when I don't really feel like playing.
5. Start abusing stupid ppl's tendencis harder rather then go POWAH POKER vs known slowplayers and such.
6. Valuebet more stuff like 2nd pair decent kicker more often.
7. Stop raising marginal stuff and end up pot-commited vs shortstacks who shoves like everything.
8. Less getting tricky with stuff to get payed off.
9. Table select better, just not only fine a few fullstacks and LAG it up.
10. Play longer sessions when I'm winning and shorter when I'm losing. Kinda.
On another note: I'm up like 1.6k so far this month over 6k hands. Considering that I was up about 2.4 earlier today one could argue that I might wanna play a bit more solid. Still up like 30 USD or something today though
I shouldn't semibluff :(

Comments plz.
Also, I'm up like just over half a bi today and I cleared like 100 in some random bonus I got because unibet misstook me studying for a test for leaving them and wanted me back. I'm up 1.6k so far this month over 4.3k hands so that's pretty good. I've got some late goals for this month too:
At least 5k profits
At least 30k hands
Working out at least 1h/day
I think I should stop having really high goals because it really puts pressure on me and it's probably not good to play when you don't feel on top of it. It's pretty cool that one could do this kind of money playing a online game and even though I'll try to move up limits I don't really feel the need to do it very fast. Would be nice to play NL400 by the end of the summer but as long as I make decent money I'll be fine.
I think I did pretty well on the big ass test too so if I just can get rid of my soul within the next 3.5 years I might be a decent lawyer too.

Anti-tilt-girl gives a mean head. That thing they say about ugly girls are true.
Also, I played like 400 hands today despite my bet with a friend that I shouldn't before the test. I ended up like 200 USD I'll have to pay him 30. I was tight as an asian girl though, which isn't that fun.
