poker hud!
Ftrunkz, Jan 21 2008
well i finally got around to getting poker hud, but I'm having one big problem! I have my preffered seat on stars as seat #1, but whenever i load up a table, the stats load as if i was sitting at the default spot on the table, even tho i have my preffered seat set in PAH.
Anyone know of a solve to this? I've searched forums with no luck
TILT or BL?
Ftrunkz, Jan 19 2008
well, i was having a flat session today, after about 800 hands i'd neither gained or lost money. Then this happened:

so, that got me a bit anoyed as it was about the first chance i got to make some money today, and i went on losing a few more all ins very quickly, i stopped playing straight after the last one, and I'm just wondering if I made poor decisions on these or if its just bad luck?

back positive in NL5!
Ftrunkz, Jan 18 2008
Well, after my huge downswing, I've finally made it into the positives in NL5!

I'm going on holidays to Canada for 2 weeks on the 31st of Jan, and hopefully i've moved up to NL10 by then! :D
Well i'm bad. :(
Ftrunkz, Jan 16 2008
Lately, due to stupid decisions and a bit of a bad run, i've dropped my roll from $200 down to $140! :{. I tried my luck at NL10 without nearly enough experiance in NL5 and got smashed down 2.5 BI's, i'm about 5 BI's from a combination of my first downswing and tilting in NL5. I've also lost a little bit from tournaments, which, after placing in in the majority of my last few, decided i was ready to play $10+ ones...
I do actually have a question rather then just general whinging about me sucking, What's the general rule when it comes to BR management in MTT's? I definitely want to keep playing them regularly including ring, but i feel unless i set myself a definitely rule like the 20BI rule for ring, I'm bound to repeat the same mistake.
Another tourny cash! time to move stakes?
Ftrunkz, Jan 13 2008
Well, During the holidays I've been waking up around 1pm-3pm everyday and just chilling, however after a good cash in the $2 tournament last week, i decided today i was going to woke up at 7am Australian time to play the hundred grand guaranteed. I managed to get to the 2nd level of money, earning myself $30 profit and pushing my bankroll over $200!
However, this is where the hard part comes in, i always planned on using the 20 BI rule when it came to ring games. However, I've only played about 500 hands total at NL5, and whilst i feel comfortable that i could beat it, i don't think I've necessarily improved my game that much from when i played NL2 (except for giving people a little more credit for hands).
So i need some suggestions from people with experience, is creeping up to NL10 really that bad and that much harder then NL5 that its worth getting a bit more experience there before jumping up? And how much experience should i need?!?!?!
Finally past NL2! :D
Ftrunkz, Jan 11 2008
I started by depositing $50 AUD ($42ish USD) about 3 weeks ago into stars and i've been slowly grinding my way through NL2 whilst playing random $1.10-$3.30 MTT's to keep me from getting too bored. And whilst in the last few days i had a bit of a bad run with my roll jumping from $83 down to $70's, i placed 4th in a 1003 person $2.20 tonight for $110 to boost my roll up to $180!
Goodbye NL2 i wont miss you! (although I'm told i will ) time to get donked in NL5! :D
