LETZ GAMBOOOOOOL

Hrmmm well 100 NL FR/6-max has been going pretty well for me.
Yesterday i broke into the 3.5k range

So I decided to mix a little 200NL into my session this morning

Bad Idea

2 set over set's in the first 10 minutes.

Ended Up Leaving -650 from the 200NL tables alone.
Overall Session -550

Still Kinda hurts >

I guess I will rebuild and take another shot when I have about 5 or 6k.

Even Taking Shots with about 20 Buyins hurts when you lose one a lot more than it did taking shots at 100NL

I'm also looking for a mentor or a coach that would sometimes take a look at a hand I need a little help on etc.

I don't really want to hire a coach because I don't need hours of teaching, I'm just talking about a few hands here or there or to talk poker theory with once in a while since SKoT is always drinking (slut stop doing that) and never plays anymore.

tried to play a donkament for a seat in the Fall Poker Classic.

100$ buy in. 110~ people signed up

Early Rounds

Make a few re-raises preflop and start to chip up.

KJ in the CO. I raise it up. SB calls (guy has been fairly solid lag)

flop comes Kh4hKc

he checks, I bet out and he raises (sweet) so I tank for about a minute and just shove over the top for about 2x the pot. He tanks and reluctantly calls. I table my KJo and he tables his Ah8h

Turn/River = Blank

Table breaks shortly after, i get to my new seat.



Pick up Kh10h in the sb (2nd hand at the table). button raises I call.

we both check

turn comes 10d I check/raise he all in and she angrily folds.

Very next hand i get QQ. Same woman raises I push over (sb and bb both very short, wasn't worried if they called)

she snap calls and shows 99. my QQ hold and im chipping up nicely (chip leader at the table)

action goes muck muck muck... to the guy to my right, who was at my other table, really bad player... Sucked out on some guy with 3's when they got it all in on a 5 6 7 board.

Anyways, he raises to 300 (blinds only at 50/100 at this point)

I look down at two black kings (HOLLA) I juice it up and make it 1000 to go. He snap calls. (??????????)

flop comes 10 10 8 He checks and I shove. He is visually distraught... He is sighing and looking at me. took him forever to call but when he did he flipped over 109s.

SLOW ROLLING SOB. turn/river dont help.

Sweet, he was 2nd in chips at the table now I'm at about ~1800 in chips. Fuck my life etc...

I manage to chip back up to about 4k through some aggressive moves and getting the nuts paid off by bottom two. ship ship.

Table breaks and little after break starts.

New table is a bunch of random people to me. Nothing to exciting really happens I manage to get a nice chip lead until I ran into this gem.

im in the BB with 84s UTG+2 smooth calls, same with the button, sb completes i check.

she stared me down and it seemed like forever... at least a few minutes, people called time on her before she called... with her Jacks. >_<

well river bricked for me and I ship about 1/2 my stack to her.

I chip back up nicely and eat a few shortstacks.

almost at the next level (200/400) when I get AKo in the bb. mid position (very short) shoves in for ~1k. Button Calls. I'm in the sb and don't want to really mess with the button (really seems to be a pretty big donk but hard to put him on anything) so I just shove over.

He has me covered... But only by about 800 chips. He thinks a long time, looks like he is about to muck his hand then goes "whatever, I call."

The short stack guy takes the pot very humbly but then I start hearing the bigger stack start cheering and saying that's what I get etc etc. He looked like Moneymaker... He had the facial hair, the hat, the glasses and was overweight.

God I tilted so hard walking away. Good thing the 15/30 game was full or I might have been in more trouble :0

Anyways that was my adventure at trying to get a Main Event seat for the Fall Classic. (bubbled btw about 8 people away) Maybe next year

p.s. as I walk out and give the valet my ticket they come back and say, "you're battery died."

first words back to him were "Leeeeeeeeee..." I guess I said it loud enough for him to shoot me an odd glance, w/e so I waited an extra 15 minutes for someone to help jump my car.

Life - same old same old, nothing new. I have my performance review at my work coming up this week. hope i get a raise >_< i do a lot of tech work + my job there.

Poker - 12 tabling 6-max + FR. The nice part is I'm playing close to my A game so I've been making some sick moves and meta-gaming the tables. I'm playing 25nl/50nl and occassionaly 100nl when the table is right.


I'll be moving to 50nl Full-time + some more 100nl soon.

Previous Goals
--------------
Over the weekend I had the goal to make 500.00
By the end of friday i was already +200.00 [+200]
Saturday I actually dropped -300.00 [-100]
Sunday I made a nice comeback at the 25NL tables. +300 on the day. [+200]
Finally today so far I'm up an additional 100. there is still time on the clock but it'll be a stretch since I have to do about 5 hours of work still today.


New Goals

- Every week make 300.00
- Don't play anything over 100NL

- 100NL Full Time by the end of the month

K so randomly went to the mall and saw a fatal1ty set up with computers and flat screens.

So ofc I'm like OMGZ JONATHAN WENDEL X_O.

But i get down there and I recognize it's not him, but another pro gamer Stermy.

I dick around with the computers they have there and rape some other ppl who were there at the same time.

Then I hear, "Get in line to play stermy to get a fatal1ty motherboard and also a fatal1ty keyboard."

I thought to myself, fuck I need both of those pretty bad.

After watching him rape the shit out of ppl I knew my fate.

Apparently there were a few times that girls skirt got a bit too high. no pic's though so it didnt happen :-[

My strategy was simple, one rocket to the feet as he jumps and make him fly off the map. It was my only chance, his aim + him getting the Quad Damage = me Raped.



They asked me a few questions and I was ready to get rolled.

We were warming up for about 15 seconds and i managed to succeed in my plan. he jumped and i rocketed with perfect timing sending him to his doom. He quickly looked over and said "press f3," in his italian accent.

i was pretty confident at the time that i'd be walking away with a motherboard. At least I know he's fraggable.

game begins and i pick up the armor he rushes to the rocket launcher.

Mistake #1 I didnt take the quad damage. instead i dropped down to get a RL for myself. only to find him jumping up to get it

basically 1 minute goes by of me running around like a chicken without a head while he has Quad Damage Up.

I manage to pick up the Rail Gun before him and actually hit him twice before i ate a rocket in the face.

He now has the RG, RL, and Shotty. FUCK MY LIFE...

:30 seconds left and I cant get anything. he gets a few spawn frags on me and I manage to get a few decent Rockets off at him, but he must have had full armor + health because they didnt seem to do shit.

I'm in the writing process of what I want accomplished and what I'd like to touch on and get into the Documentary.

One thing I'd love in it is meeting some LP'ers in vegas or somewhere. So keep me updated on meets and shi- in the US.

Anyways if anyone has any suggestions of what you think should be in it let me know please.

So I thought I would register for a few micro tourneys to help pass the time.

I guess i ended up registering for the 10+1 rebuyz
I was raping the shit out of the tourney only rebought once (to 3k) and then added on.
then i ran into a bitch of a hand
set vs my nut flush
river = pair board

would have brought me to top 10 in chips with about 30k+ chips, which would have been very easy to chip up from imo. i might play that tourney more often, same with the 3r
Competition is so loose and pushes to easy with horrible hands.
guess i just have to ride out the variance.
