this hand caused instant massive monkey tilting....
I knew he handn't much respect on NL5000, but this hand is beyond my comprehension... How can this "skilled" player go allin in unraised 5-handed pot with practically nothing invested and hit his 6 outer ? wtf is going on srsly
And btw I don't know if he is not taking it seriously, but I played with him several times at NL200, now he was 8-tabling so I guess these plays caused this is his new limit...
today I played some poker
BlizzY, Nov 20 2007

I was about to break even at hand 5700 and got 2 outered so I am happy with the comeback ... I want to reach 300k VPP safely by the end of the year so I need to play some more hands.
small session
BlizzY, Oct 22 2007
today I decided to play some poker before class..

Oh I decided to skip school today... I think I did the right thing
gg downswing
BlizzY, Sep 25 2007
Worst run of my life finally ended and I am very happy It started after very good month on NL200 as I took shot on NL400 and failed horribly... what then ensued was the worst run of bad beats, ocasional tilt and hopelesness :D
It forced me to play more hands and think more about my game and now I feel stronger than ever Planning to take another shot at NL400 in short time
variance: made 3,5k$ in bonuses during downswing so I am up actually
obv graph

also possible brag/beat: I am university student again after I dropped out last year to pursuit my poker career I am glad I did that because back then I was very poor student and didn't have any money at all and was very unmotivated, but now I have some kind of freedom... I am very happy with my life right now and I hope the school will be fun (new girls and stuff )
See ya till next blog entry (probably next year :D )
just BLEH
BlizzY, Aug 27 2007
Hello,
This is my post after really long time because I find blogging boring and I don't like to brag, but I want to have this saved for future reference as the worst run in my life
Life was good basically, I enjoyed this summer very much, went to Thailand for 3 weeks and it was the nuts Maybe I will post some images later...
I also bought new computer since I've been running good, and things went well and I thought about taking a shot at NL400 with $15k bankroll. This is what happened :D
These are all my hands since I bought new comp

I don't exactly know what to say, I run good in Sklansky bux
This is my graph since I took shot at NL400 (first ~3k hands) and then tried to win it back on NL200... even more bleh

That's all
decent day
BlizzY, Mar 26 2007
So today I woke up at about 11 am, which is pretty early for me, because usually I go to bed around 3-5 am, so this thay started very soon :D I've done just some basic hygienic procedures and imediatelly started playing without having breakfast or anything(This is how my day starts if I finished previous day down ).
So session started pretty good, got dealt some good hands and setups, made some good plays, didn't lose many big pots, just got stacked once with AA vs flopped set of 3s
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/163694
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/163706 - here I was prepared to lay it down to allin probably but turn saved my day. I also think I played that turn pretty poorly, should've bet it
So after about 1k hands I was up about 4,5 BIs which is very good, and I decided to go out, get a haircut, have a lunch ect. That's my usual scenario when I am winning big, that I quit too early I think. The other scenario is that I lose all my profits and go down about 2-3 buyins more :D but that happened only at NL200 frequently.
I didn't really feel like playing the whole day, but 1k hands simply isn't enough, doesn't matter how up I am, because I don't have anything other to do just to play poker :D So I forced myself to play about 600 hands more, but I wasn't very focused and managed to go up 2 BIs more, so I am satisfied and I won't play anymore today...
some hands

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/163903
So today there weren't any interesting hands that I was curious about, only situations that weren't too hard to play and profit
I am going to watch this Russian movie 9th companywhich I heard is pretty good and after that maybe read some poker book (I have quite a big collection, but I finished only maybe 3 of them... I just read some section from random book from time to time)

not so good session
BlizzY, Mar 25 2007
So today I didn't really wanted to play, because yesterday my buddy celebrated his birthday and today I felt like shit
I watched a movie "The
Pledge", which I haven't seen for maybe 4-5 years, and Jack Nicholson still rocks
After that I played a ~1900 hands session mainly 7-8 tabling 6-max NL100 on stars (that's what I am going to do for the next month probably if I don't catch some sick heater)
this session started pretty slowly, I was losing money in small pots and after a while with no big pot lost, I was down more than 1 buyin...
Then this hand came up and I thought everything will go my way
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/163530
this guy was the type of player I love to see at my tables
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/163533 - thought this might be a good spot to 4-bet, because the 3-bettor was quite loose, but when he called, I didn't know what to do in that spot oop.... dunno about this hand
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/163536 - not quite sure about this hand either, after the turn I thought I might have the best hand, maybe I should've checked for pot control, but didn't want to give free card to draws... On river after his push I felt I was beat, but couldn't fold with that odds.
After some beats, uncompleted draws, tilt plays I was down almost 4,5 BIs and was thinking about quitting the session but I had some massive fishes on some of my tables so I decided to keep playing.
Then this hand vs ULTRAfishy player who was running like 85/20/2 came up http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/163539 - I thought for a while I was beat, because I've seen him bluff with all kind of shit, he was playing terrible (stacked him once before for 100bb) but I've seen him bet this big with some big hands so I didn't know really... but couldn't really do anything else but call...
after that I played some more, but I was feeling little bit tired so I stopped playing and watched a movie
not a great session, could've ended up if I didn't make some stupid plays, but I am happy I managed to cut the losses.
Here is the graph

Hello my name is Martin,I am 19 years old, and I am from Slovakia. I've been playing poker for 8 months now.
No one probably knows me but I used to play BW under nickname blizzy too... My biggest success was that I luckboxed it to the WCG 2004 in San Francisco, and after finishing 2nd in Slovak qualification in 2005 I quit.
Started with poker out of curiosity, seeing many BW players were quite succesful and I wanted to try something new, where I can compete and make some money too. I started at PartyPoker with the $75 promotion, worked my way up to $1400 and when the USA players ban came, I moved to Pokerstars. It was maybe the most -EV move of my poker carrer, seeing how the competition is now
Currently I am grinding NL100 on Stars, after I took a shot at NL200 and had a -$3000 downswing in ~15k hands, which wasn't very uplifting.
I am starting this blog mainly because I want to keep track of my results and of course I love to brag :D
I plan to make updates after every bigger session, so stay tuned and I hope you'll like it.
