Race Wars anyone?

A funny idea popped into my mind after reading the thread about Starcraft races and poker ability. Why don't we have a race war to find out what BW race really plays the best when it comes to Poker. This is how it would work out:

We have open a private MTT tournament ($5 - $20 buyin, whatever) like normal, and everyone who plays has to be playing (or have once played) Starcraft: Broodwars. Everyone in the tournament has to pick their best race (not favorite race, the race you used when you wanted to pwn kids).

We will have a regular prize structure for this tournament, but the top 3 zerg, terran, and protoss users will then advance to a private single table tournament where they will play down to see what Starcraft race really owns Poker.

We could also put down a point system in the bigger MTT tournament to see what race scores the most amount of points based on where they placed.

Anyone wanna add any suggestions or support for this idea?

I think its a great idea but one problem may be this. People like me. I guaruntee 90% of this forum could kick my butt in BW. I was never near pro level or took the game that seriously. Poker is a different story. I think I would have an edge against the average person here in poker and I wouldn't want to represent for Protoss because of that :/

This goes the other way obv as well. People who owned in BW but are just picking up poker. Tough to make this contest meaningful unless there are some sort of common skill levels that the players MUST have in both BW and poker.

You are just choosing a race man you dont have to be good at it. You aren't representing the protoss community as a whole. And no one will see you play starcraft, just poker so you are good to go.

I'm just saying the rules need some adjusting if we want to take anything meaningful out of this. If its just a fun thing then obv who cares.

Each table consists of 8 players, while playing poker - each player also participates in a 8 player race wars broodwar game. A real test of your apm skills

zerg > protoss (unless its island, that's just straight up rigged)
