McDonalds makes me feel sick whenever I eat it. Sometimes I have to eat that cancer when travelling though :/

interesting choice. Don't know if u care about the nutritional value, but if you are choosing southwest salad over hamburger for health reasons...

Item, calories, fat, cholesterol, sodium, carbs
Big Mac® 540 29 75 1040 45
SW salad 430 20 55 920 38

*edit*
thats with the breaded chicken.
not a significant difference.

sigh...its like they are throwing money out of a helicopter and i dont have any hands...so i just break even.Last edit: 27/01/2010 23:46

I'm visiting Australia for a few months and it is really hard to find edible bread from the Supermarkets. Water costs more than gas as well. They're actually advertising that incredibly crappy white bread makes your child a super genius during _every_ ad break of the Australian Open. Wtf is this? Shouldn't it be illegal?

I mean, it's alright if people want to be obese and unhealthy, it's alright. But targeting their children and, in the end, forcing them down the same line of obesity and incredibly unhealthy eating habits should be criminal. People have such skewed views on nutrition these days that it makes an observer feel sick.

Healthy white bread.. ffs.

I am not young enough to know everything.

you basically have an infinite amount of choices at a supermarket. At McDonalds you have an extremely limited amount of healthier choices. It's not like i'm a hippy protesting the shit out of McDonalds, i just won't eat their and support their reign of fattening foods.

if you don't include that in the paper she'll probably know u didn't spend any time on it at all. Also include the fact that in many countries McDonald's is selling a hollywood lifestyle. People don't realize that the McDonald's in the US are shit and mostly poor people eat there. The McDonald's in other countries are often trendy and fashionable and expensive and nice and clean places that look nice too often. Finally, young people generally have either an oppositionist view or a strong supporting view and so there's a big societal gap between essentially closed off nationals and the more progressive and pro globalization people who eat at McDonald's have better education are more democratic in ideology et cetera. Most of these countries don't have the health problems to the extent that highly developed countries do so it's not an issue. Once their countries food outlets begin to primarily serve foods made in the same unhealthy manner, then that will become an issue
