lol @ Le's pic....
If Bisping doesn't look better than he did vs Kennedy, I wouldn't be surprised if he get's highlight reeled, he looked awful. That said, an even 75 percent of prime Bisping should cruise to a decision.

Bisping looked hesitant in his fight against Kennedy, probably cuz he was fighting for the first time since his eye injury. He was still pouring a couple different type of drops into his eye right before the fight. Who knows how good it currently is. Bisping always squints now, he never has his eyes wide open like he used to.
I'll be on Cung Le for this fight. The only thing people can seem to talk about is Bisping having the cardio edge. Bisping does have the better pure boxing, but this isn't a boxing match. Cung Le will have the Asia advantage, which comes with him not needing to get used to the travel, and also if the fight is a close decision. Le also has the better kicks and heavier hands.
If you actually watch Bisping's fights in sequence, you can see that he's not really improving much, he's getting slightly worse in some areas, and the eye injury is enough to make me pick Le. I wouldn't be surprised if his eye is worse than he's telling the UFC, and that if he gets TKO`ed here, he'll retire, especially since it would be the first time he has ever lost 2 fights in a row.

lol roids much?
This is going to be a fun fight, Lee's last fight was great, he saw a obvious opening and took advantage of it text book, ate the kick and went for the right hook, he even did it very slowly and still KOd the fuck out of Franklin, but Bisping is way better on his feet but is currently looking like shit, havent seen the line but I might throw a few bucks at Lee by KO
Cung Le is at +240, is crazy. I put 1/3 of my bank on Cung Le.

Lol you guys crack me up! Bisping is going to destroy him.
I have $575 at -230 and $612.50 at -245. I can bet on Le right now at +255 and be guaranteed a bunch of money. Not sure what I want to do with that.
No other bets yet. The lines are not even out for anything but Dong vs Woodley and I have no idea about that fight. I guess I could talk myself into betting Woodley at -160. Does anyone want to help with that?

I'm stuck on DHK vs. Woodley as well. So many variables to consider.
That being said, I have one bet on DHK at +158. I'll add more if I get any new information on either guy.

Yeah he should, but he should have destroyed Wandy too and he managed to loose a god damn decision to a chinny brawler that was starting to learn how to strike more technically and Bisping has been fighting like shit lately. Lee is old and cant fight at Bispings pace but I think he can find a KO somewhat often, if you get a crossbetting freeroll you should definitelly take it, I dont think this fight is a sick lock as you feel

Skip to 2:40:45 of the video. Rogan asks Schaub about Bisping's eye. (May 2014)
Also, just before his fight against Tim Kennedy, Bisping was still injecting silicone oil into his eye to protect his retina. I'm not sure if he's still doing the injections, but there's a good chance his vision out of that eye is damaged, which isn't good for someone who fights like Bisping does.
----------
Michael Bisping was prepared to shelve MMA career, trash talking for good after eye injury (April 2014)
"Doctors put oil into the eye during the surgery to reattach the retina. According to Bisping, when the retina is reattached properly, the oil is removed.
But in his case, the oil was removed too quickly and the retina became detached again.
He went to practice one day and he found himself struggling to see what was immediately in front of him.
"All of a sudden, I could hardly see out of the eye and that was very disturbing and troubling," Bisping said. "I had to pull out of that fight and start the process right from the beginning again."
He is fully healed and said he is not at any greater risk than any other fighter. The oil is still inside of his eye and he said doctors told him it is impossible for the retina to become detached again with the oil still inside."
----------
Bisping is not going to have the oil removed until he retires. So while he may or may not have vision loss due to his retina detaching twice, there's a good chance that the oil in his eye is obstructing his vision.

But yea Wandy wasn't that bad back then. He was coming off a super close fight with Rich Franklin who was still top 3-4 in the division. Pretty sure Wandy went into that fight as a favorite and no one was surprised he won.
That's said Bisping looked really bad against Tim Kennedy. Kennedy was tagging him all night with an overhand right and Tim is a pretty average striker. If the same Bisping shows up against Cung I wouldn't be surprised if Cung knocked him out.

Great share, this is the kind of insight I love. At the same time, this sort of intelligence is what makes the Tri-star fighters so damn boring a lot. Because they have excellent IQ, defense, and are patient, but don't give a shit about the finish. That said, don't hate the playa', hate the game.

Dudieva looked like she was smuggling something in her trousers at 4:18 of the video.
Everyone was on weight, so no big surprises imo. Cung Le did live up to his Instagram photo, although he had just finished hitting the weights after he took the picture, so he looked even more ripped during that time.

Wanderlei was a favorite in his fight with Bisping. I'm finding about -200 for it.

2014: During his work-out vs. when he's not working out
2012 vs. 2014
From Kelvin Gastelum on the UG:
From: kgastelum928
Woodley doesn't have hardly any water in his body so his muscles are shrunk down. Man that's a horrible feeling. (after seeing the weigh-in)
----------
Many people noticed that Woodley looked smaller, not tiny, but not as bulky as usual. It could be nothing, or it could be a bad weight cut. This is the first time Woodley is fighting outside of North America. Funny enough, Woodley has only fought twice outside of USA, which was in Canada, and he lost both fights to Jake Shields and Rory MacDonald. The Shields fight was controversial, but Woodley slowed down in that fight and let the fight be closer than it should have been.

Im a cung le fan. He fights like hes a video game character pressing x y a b. I read an interview where he said he trained 8 hours a day in wrestling or san shou which I think is kickboxing and he was the world champ at it.

Someone else wrote this yesterday on another forum:
While I think Bisping prolly wins, the more I break it down the more I start seeing a case for Cung -- as in he does have a route to victory -- a few of them actually.
First of all, Le is one of the most diverse mixed martial artists in the game today, and if he we 30 instead of 25, I think he'd be the UFC's WW champion. Nevertheless, at 42, bolstered by his variety of disciplines in TMA's -- Le is well prepared for virtually any style, and a fighter as one dimensional as Bisping is definitely trudging up hill vs. the techniques Le offers.
Second, when it comes to his TDD, Le is essentially a concrete pillar. This is due to the fact that Le has long practiced and excelled in the disciplines which buttress his TDD. Specifically, wrestling itself -- everyone thinks of Cung being this one-dimensional striker which cannot be further from the truth. In fact, it is his wrestling background which enables him to attempt the fancy striking techniques he's known for. As an All-American in high school, Le went on a scholarship to wrestle for JUCO West Valley College where he would win the California Junior College State Championship. Of course this helps to explain his stellar tdd, but only partially.
I first got acquainted w/ Cung way back in like 2002 or so as I would watch K-1 kickboxing on ESPN 2. Participating on there was this bad ass little Vietnamese guy named con way who fought in Sanshou matches not only was he a out striking his opponents but he was throwing and tripping them with amazing flair.
So, he had a wrestling background he excelled in. In Sanshou he was the very best in his division never losing a match. Additionally, Le was a student of Judo and Sambo both of which are notorious for producing remarkable tdd.
What's more, Le has done very well against strikers like Bisping such as Rich Franklin and Frank Shamrock who are not looking to take him down but rather engage him in a protracted kickboxing match and wear him down. Furthermore, Bisping is not a power puncher and Cung should have little regard for his power which will make him apt to take risks coming in.
Again, I favor Bisping, but I won't be surprised at all to see Le get the knockout or win a decision based on cleaner striking and effective technique.

Don't let his Sanshou creds wow you too much. First off no one in MMA circles ever heard of it before Cung Le. It's a super niche sport which likely has an incredibly small talent pool. No talented strikers are competing in Sanshou. Also while I haven't gone and watched any of his fights, I read on a kickboxing forum from several guys that you get points for throws, and Cung used his wrestling a ton to throw his opponents in matches.
So despite his credentials I don't think he's all that great of a striker. Like with a lot of TMA guys his boxing is pretty atrocious, although he's improved on it a lot since training full MMA. He's got great kicks, that's true. But the rest of his striking game has been lacking. Although he has improved his boxing a good amount since transitioning to MMA. Great strikers don't get knocked out by Scott Smith. Even if they are 38.
But yea I agree I won't be surprised if Cung Le knocks out Bisping. Mainly because of how bad Bispings striking defense looked against Tim Kennedy who is not a very good striker. Tim landed big shots on him at will, and if Cung does that he has the power to put Bisping out unlike Tim.
I think Bisping is closer to -220ish in this fight than the -300ish he is right now.

Also dont lump Bispings striking with Rich Franklins or Frank Shamrock, those two are wrestler with very shitty striking and Bisping has a decent technical boxing

When the announcer is reading the scores, "27-30 for Yao," you know something is wrong. There has to be some type of error in reading the results + bad judging going on.

Ended up -190 on Woodley $190. Not super happy since it was -160 before. Not much of a strategical explanation except that I've always seen Dong as pretty overrated and this will be his first time against a top guy. Three rounds is good for Woodley too opposed to being main event.

Agreed if we knew he was gonna be the old Bisping. That's why I said if even a 75 percent Bisping shows up he cruises to a decision. Well, a 100 percent Bisping showed up and got a finish. More good news for the increasingly exciting MW division. That said, he is going to get DESTROYED by Rockhold.
