I'll be playing APPT Macau in several days, it's a 40k HKD buy in which comes out to 5160 USD (as of right now, 1 HKD = 0.129008 USD xe.com). I'll be selling at 1.1 to 1, I've been told I should sell for higher but this is my first big international MTT so I don't think it'd be fair charging more markup. I also want to reserve a lot of % for my friends IRL here (mostly since they can pay me in cash), so likely I won't take THAT much % from LP backers but I'll gauge the interest. Just send a PM or leave a comment, I'll take stars or FTP.
As for MTT experience I've won the FTP 50/50 early this year for 12k, I've gotten 4th in the daily 80 on stars for 9k, and I mostly play during FTOPS seasons etc. I'm primarily a cash game player though, ID attackyoustack on ftp.
Unrelated: pretty lol, was crushing the 50/100 (equivalent $6/$12 USD) at the grand lisboa today until I realized they were charging max 200 hkd rake (20+ us dollars), what a giant rip off. lol liveaments.

They are/were always a rip-off @ Grand Lisboa...
Can you tell me what's the scenario now there ? how many tables,regulars, stakes?
When I was playing there it was very rare to open up 50/100 there. Usually it was 10/20 most of it, and occasionally 25/50 and there were mostly regs during week. |

The wynn typically has more action, but the regs there are better (and by that i mean nittier). the action is REALLY good at lisboa, especially when big side tourneys run (like yesterday's 1500 hkd deepstack), and so a bunch of old donks got a 50/100 to run and I played that. You're right though, normally the 50 100 doesnt run at the GL. 10/20 and 20/40 seem to run a lot at the lisboa. The high stakes action at the wynn seems to run all day though (200/400 etc), like a couple tables in that VIP section. |
