I stupidly spewed 4BI in the morning NL10, during 25minutes. (Why do I play anyway? Always in sports, school, university, I can't bloody focus before 11am... but I always play...and lose. And when I play 30/28 NL10 it even multiplies. I was not going by equity but by hope)

Thank god I got it back in a few (and lost some of it at the end, see my last post) this afternoon.

Than I saw my luck is running out and I am getting tired, so I got back to my 14table NL5 Grind.

And guess what, although I try not to, my openness at NL10 affects my 14tabling as well. I ran 21/20 instead of the usual 17/13 and its actually a better approach as its 200bb. But now I know from NL10 what to do with those tiny SC and One gappers, and I am no longer taking free money from only from the mid-stacks, but with the suck out hands I also stacked the nitty regs here and there.

Here is the brag graph and my 36$/Hour this afternoon.

if you keep latching onto nl5 as your safety blanket its going to get harder and harder to move up

The thing is that I can't focus for more than 2 hours 4tabling with open game, and I like to keep the mindset clear - NL10 Loose 4Tabling, NL5 14Table grinds, as I always had the tendency to go for the grind.

And I will never ever play NL10 with tight range on few tables, I don't see the point as the BI's are the same and profits so much lower.

And my plan was and still is to abandon both limits once I get rolled for NL25.
(The profits will be much higher and I will try to abandon grinding completely, and play much fewer sessions. )

Dont get caught to much on ya heater yo, keep playing solid. Put in more volume into 10nl before 25nl, don't think youve seen much of 10nl yet. Keep up the good work!

figure out a way that you can always be focused, screw 14 table grinding, you're not improving and for what, like $3 hourly or something.

I have seen enough. Donks all over the place, and I just hit a hand, bet pot and cross my fingers.

I want to move to NL25 asap with like 4-6 extra BI's that I will expect to lose (I will move at around 34BI, and move down if I lose more than the expected loss).

I think that 150K hands that I played at NL2-10 are quite a decent number, and I am really looking forward to limits where I can can say to people GG YOU PWNED ME, rather than to Shove TPTK and cross my fingers the donk didn't hit something.

moving up has everything to do with your edge over the game and nothing to do with your bankroll man..

Its actually 6$/hour for NL5 SH and if only I could focus for longer yeah

I don't know what is it in me, but I just love grinding. Back in BW days I'd just play 6 hours straight with 300 APM (and 140 eapm ;o) and I took it to poker)

But I think NL25 will finally be a limit that is worth 4tabling and is even more profitable, and if I will make more than minimum wage than I can just play fewer intensive sessions and go back to Starcraft for the 'grinds' ;o

But I have the edge I can grind NL10 the same way I do NL5 and run 5-6BB/100 (with the same profits as NL5 though where I run 10-12BB/100 because of the same BI's-and NL5 is more fun ;o). I have found very very few people where I felt I don't have an edge.
I can beat the limit easily with Tight ABC, but that was not moving me anywhere, hence the LAG style, which is new to me and thats where I have troubles. If I had the roll now I'd move to NL25 and play solid, Poker Strategy taught poker and I believe I'd still be profitable.

an nl50 player doesnt grind a lot to jump straight to the 2/4 game just because nl100 and 200 are full of nits and blah blah blah im not comfortable whatever your excuses were

lemon i think ur doing fine.

i stayed on nl2/5 for a very long time before moving up

just dont think of skipping nl10. i had exactly the same idea and i can tell u its bs. my ptbb is lower on nl25 than nl10. do it properly, just keep grinding for rent and taking shots gl

Yeah its just like 50K hands, maybe I am on a massive heater (However I had two -8 BI downswings).

But when I play more than 9 tables I table select and you wouldn't believe how much free money you pick up at NL5 and NL10.
