LOL
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/290724 QQ Limping for set value
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/291498 JJ Reraised pot against a regular, good flop.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/291499 TT Can't really play it wrong

Misplays
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/291501 AK against a familiar nitty nit. Where was the displine that I showed a few days ago?

misplayed:
1) raise 5-6. if u know hes a nit then fold to minraise. otherwise its fine as played w an unknown.
2) just bet the flop. if he folds o well. u dont have Ah so checking is stupid.
3) dont limp/raise QQ. just raise up front and when an ace falls cont bet/fold to raise. shoving here results in u getting called by like A6o by some random donk.

didnt bother looking @ other ones. my AIM is shaneomac249 if u wanna chat over a hand or 2 or w/e

Unfortunately I will have to quit poker for the rest of the month due to school work

For all those misplayed hands, it's not like I don't know the correct play. Most of the time it's boneheadedness / lack of discipline / lack of slow careful thoughts before making the optimal play (e.g. Why do I want to trap with that AA hand, or ez turn fold on that AK hand). I have made some good folds before (http://www.liquidpoker.net/blog/viewblog.php?id=307694 evening session), i just need to do it consistently.

When I resume I will have to work on my PF AF. But I just don't find it enjoyable playing big pots w/ AK AQ AJ offsuit, coz those hands just get you into trouble esp. OOP -- so you flop TPTK OOP and get raised, or get called in multiple places. Now what?

To Shane. I don't really use AIM, but I assume we can use the PM function here. Thanks for all the comments so far you seem genuinely nice.

i try =). u sound like me a few months ago. the boneheadedness/lack of discipline/lack of slow careful thoughts. i used to be the exact same way. but once u realize the money is indeed tangible and isnt just money that cant be touched it changes ur perspective of things. think of it like this, make a list of things you want to buy. w/e it is. make a list of things and then think about how you can get it. poker is by far the easiest way to make that money. and its something that u enjoy if i am not mistaken (presumably). this should sure up ur discipline i would think. if u find urself struggling to make good decisions then cut down on tables. i only play 4-6 tables presently cuz of monitors but i play good and solid and make good decisions. cut down to 4 tables and rly focus. if u use msn my msn is bigbluffer.79@hotmail.com but i rly hate msn but still use it =P
