sorry but theres so much bullshit in this post
"im naturally good at everything" no you fucking aren't, you are certainly one of the biggest failures on this site, fuck off with those comments already
"i love music" no you fucking don't, you remind me of 15 year old emo girls who say music is their fucking lives when they have no clue about anything music related, proof is you didn't even want to learn guitar in those 2 years. how hard is it to find tablatures for beginners and start learning some easy songs? you want to start playing because you are bored and didn't manage to sell your guitar, not for your love for music. |

when you REALLY love music, it's a big part of your life and it's not just listening to it unconsciously or semi-consciously like most people do. it's living it. playing an instrument is part of it.
you can be sorry all you want you will still appear as a fag
and for what it's worth you don't listen to ANYTHING *at all* that I listen to. I have no idea how you can come up with such a bullshit statement.
here, go to my last.fm page and see my top 50 artists http://www.last.fm/user/Caliban51 and tell me how many of them you know and actually listen to. |

I just told you how I started. I learned to read tabs and downloaded them with a software like guitar pro and power tabs and started learning riffs and then full songs. |

I taught myself as a maths problem, the fingers followed with practise. It's pretty interesting and it was nice when I found that the terms I'd given to some theory concepts I worked out were real ideas!
Personally I'd suggest that you start by writing your own songs on one or two chord and build up. Just learning to play certain songs is a grind, but if you build it up from a creating perspective you gain a feel for what is actually going on and the point of it rather than painting by numbers. |

So owned. You really are extremely arrogant and ignorant crown. I hope if enough people tell you this you can become more humble and realistic about your abilities. |

you know I think this is a really good thing for someone who REALLY loves music, learning creativity at the same time as learning the instrument in itself. but that's hard and it requires quite a bit of dedication because you aren't pleased with what you are playing before a while. on the other hand, there is an instant gratification by learning songs you already know and it's what will keep most people motivated i would think |

No he's right although i do think he is a music snob. I take music a lot more seriously than almost all people i know in real life but i still dont love music and am just babbling like all the people who listen to britney spears and say they love music and stuff.
I didn't think before i wrote and i should have said i enjoy music because that's much more correct. |

It's kinda like when someone comes up to you and tells you that they are a pretty good poker player and you think to yourself (oh yeah?) and you just completely disregard what they are saying because they are clueless.
loco has a serious passion for music so when i say shit like that he finds it almost disrespectful in a way if that makes sense. |

which i guess is snobby and you're right
but like cmon it's britney spears and people who "love" that music although they will only listen to a certain pop song for probably 2weeks max because they are easily digestible and leave a terrible aftertaste after you hear them for more than a few times. |
