Long time poster at 2+2..mostly lurk here. I saw chobo1's blog and was reading about thailand and remembered something familiar about the name. I've scrolled further down his blog and found his stars name is indeed chobopoker_r.

Beware of this guy...possibly may attempt to scam/steal/roll another stake in the future. Just wanted the poker community to be aware of this guy.

If this is true, why would he show any remorse? Its over the internets, you wont ever see him in person, so his probably laughing right now, they are fools for staking a stranger they dont know in person, or really trust beforehand.

Quit crying and deal with it imo, if you get the money back, be thankful, if not then thats too bad.

Mayzerg, fraud and stealing not good enough reasons to show remorse for you? Ah it's over the internet and they don't know each other well so that somehow makes it all right?

And what is with your attitude? He obviously knows that there is almost no chance that he will ever see his money. I genuinely believe that his main objective here is to warn everyone else.

How the fuck did you get from this that hes crying? hes doing the community a service by warning about a scammer, which is what everyone should do unless they get some sadistic pleasure from seeing other people get scammed.

I'm tired, havnt slept much and in a grouchy mood I agree his main objective is warning people here, so i guess i should cut the guy some slack, but trying to set up payments to get his money back every week is major LOL in my opinion, he'd be pretty lucky if chobo1 gave it all back.

I guess im just surprised/annoyed, that people still get scammed, so i have no sympathy for them.

Sorry if this makes me sound like a dick, its just we've been over this so many times... atleast once a month.

Its surprising that people still get scammed? - no

There are bright people that think they will never get scammed but still do. Scammers need to be identified and banned immediately from the community to prevent them from obtaining information they could use to exploit others, provided there is sufficient info to do so.

Actually, I'm all for giving shady characters a different colour name on the forum to identify these guys or have some kind of list. The counter argument is of course that if they're easily identifiable, they'll just hop onto a new handle anyways... so I dunno, just avoid staking people you dont really know I guess

i don't know why everyone instantly just start berating someone for getting scammed then trying to warn people. It's not gonna be so funny if it happens to you.

too many fucking tools on this site.

Note: I am not the one who staked chobo and was screwed. Just recognized his name and wanted to warn people here of any dealings with him as they may not be aware of what he did to someone over at 2+2.

because its harder to scam when theres a massive sign on his chest saying "I'm a scammer, dont stake me"?
