Warning: Buying PT3 from People

Backstory: I ended up buying PT3 off of a new person on here, figured that if I could get it registered, I'd have no problem. Like PAHUD, as long as it's registered in 2 locations no matter who did it, it will work until its removed.

PT3 is not the case, they can flag your registration even after you have used a working code.

So, like Paypal Transfers, if you were to buy PT3 from someone(Not targeting affiliate like LP, its P2P transfers), make sure you can trust em.

mmm yeah from now on PT3 sales are forbidden unless they are reputable sellers (over 1,000 posts) disobeying this rule, being in the forums or the blogs will results in an instant ban no question asked

just forbid selling it imo. i think there are cdkeys out there which are illegal/hacked ones.

Yeah, no clue if he sold multiple times, PT says my code has been flagged.

I agree, just ban it all together. Getting to 1K posts to sell it will only delay someone getting scammed because they could just easily run up 1K posts over a short period of time. Most people that buy PT3 or HEM should know what they have bought and probably used the trail to evaluate before buying.

Slightly off topic, but do any of you guys have problem with Pokertracker3 sometimes just stopping, like stops adding new data to the hud thingy, and no more stats come up. And when you try go klick it some it freezes for a split second then closes ?

i recently bought PT3 from lp.net user (20 posts or so...) , and now im getting this message if i open PT3 :

Your PokerTracker 3 registration code has been flagged for excessive usage. If you are legal owner of this registration code, please contact us via the PokerTracker Support system with your name, email address, and date of purchase so that we can issue you a new code.

"

What should i do now? I dunno what this message means, how can i contact them if the code is registered on another name/mail , i just bought it from another user ?
(the one Baal was trying to ban like 2 weeks ago for making many new blog posts about selling it)
