Thailand Help

I arrived in Thailand a couple of nights ago, and I'm wondering if there are any LPers in Thailand who are willing to :

1) Show me around Bangkok, help me with some questions I have
2) Do a stars transfer for USD or Baht trade (around $500?) I'll give you 5%.

My e-check cashouts in December were cancelled and I spent a lot of money in L.A. before I arrived here so I'm on a pretty tight budget right now. I'm staying on Khao San Rd and the only internet access I have is at the internet cafes, so I'll check back again tomorrow sometime.

Go to a nice island or go north to Chiang Mai, BKK kind of sucks (imo). Next time you see a tuk-tuk driver slash his tires for me please.

Are you travelling alone? I was with friends.. mainly partying and a tiny bit of culture.

Ewwww, Khao San is full of filthy backpacker tourists. Unless you're one of them, don't do it!!

You should go to RCA, just tell the taxi drivers, they know and go like "RCA? Discotec" and you say "yes yes!" and nod. or say "Chai". Then go to Flix or Route 66 and ship. Those are awesome during the weeks and weekends. Monday is slightly slower day usually. On tuesday's you can go to Bed Supper Club and wednesday too (wed. is model's night).

Afterparty places such as Spicy and Boss are generally very dirty so I recommend wearing extra condoms with girls you might pick up at those places.

Ekkamai also has some nice clubs, but (imo) the best, Santika, just burned down on New years eve.

I dunno 'bout dem tourist attractions etc. tho, I was only there for two months - can't get around to that in that time.

I hear there are also some beaches somewhere in Bkk, but I guess going to Phuket or such for thing like that might be a good idea. I never went to Pattaya, but from what I hear, the beaches and bitches are too dirty, cost and have stds anyway, so you won't miss much.

You should also visit Nana once, but don't take your credit cards or anything valuable with you that you might miss later ;D That place is .. hmmn.. yea well you'll figure it out. :D Have fun!!

Im going to Bangkok in about a week. Im definitely going to check out Lumpinee Stadium or any of the other big thai-boxing stadiums to watch some real Muay Thai. Gonna be sweet.

I've read several 2+2 forum posts about that. It seems like there are several guys playing those limits in Thailand. Hear the hookers are like 25 bucks. I'm not going to say that I wouldn't go if I could...

the islands are where to go

bangkok is ok, khosan is pretty fun for a few days, then gets old VERY quickly

BKK has an awesome shopping center, i lived close to there for two weeks w/ this girl i ended up living with for a couple weeks

just make sure to do one of two things

a. go to a full moon party in koh samui
b. elephant trekking (riding 8-13 ft high on an elephant is fucking exhilerating)
c. fuck as many girls as possible, thai girls put out more than NYC firefighters

HF, i haven't been there since 2004, but I'm going back to Southeast asia for atleast 2-3 weeks this summer, maybe longer, we'll see
