I'm pretty pumped about this event, the main event supposedly will draw the most viewers in the history of the organization.
Couture vs Lesnar......... Like most people I really hope Couture wins, but Lesnar is just so big and strong and they share the same strong trait of wrestling. It's really hard to pick a winner.

the fight is amazingly even, sites are giving Lesnar around a 10% advantage but i think Coture is going to win this, mainly because Coture's main hability is intelligence, he is not particulary strong, nor a particulary effective submitter, neither an striking monster, yet he has always a very smart plan and wins with it even with superior oponents.

this one is going to be close but i think lesnar is just to big of a man for coture and will lose in the end.

He outboxed Chuck in fight 1, outwrestled Tito, threw looping rights against Sylvia, crushed Gonzaga in all aspects of the game.

The dirty boxing is definitely a specialty of his which can be seen in all of his fights, but his gameplans are much more than just that.

I agree with Nazgul, and also dirty boxing is a sign of "smart" gameplan when u are inferior in other aspects, he never gets caught up in the action, he doesnt loose his heads and go wild, or get scared and do other stupid shit like other fights do.

again refering to the Belfrot fight when he was in his prime, he clearly was phisically weaker, he had a much inferior boxing (Belfort was the best boxer at that time by far), Belfort has better submission imo too, then how did he win, and in such a dominating fashion?, he just exchanged punches when he had to, he clinched when he had to, he took it to the ground when he had to, perfect timing, perfect attack plan, and that imo is the key to beat lesnar with such a huge strenght difference.

he didnt honor his contract. he signed a contract for like 250k a fight and ppv percentages or something. he beats tim & gabe and throws a bitch fit because he felt others were getting more. so he sits out for like a year trying to fight fedor or some shit.

news flash randy. you got gtfo twice by a light heavy and you come out of retirement and the ufc gives you the biggest gift title shot ever and a contract that was better than you probably deserved. finish your last two fights and get a new contract or dont sign the damn thing.

Herring deserves all the shit he gets. Herring had so much potential to become a great fighter, instead of grinding it out he has gotten lazy and is still overweight.
