that i just made up because i am bored and unable to sleep. so jack and jill are playing hu nlhe for lives ONE MILLION big blinds deep. there is some ridiculous action on every street with many raises and reraises and even some overbets like 2x pot because why the hell not, its a million big blinds deep. Anyway they get to the river and Jill is holding the straight up second nuts. Jill suspects with all the action her hand might not actually be good at this point. So she decides to turn it into a bluff and puts in the final massive allin overbet that would make mahatma look like a loose-passive fixed limit holdem player. She legitimately manages to bluff Jack off a better hand and is sure its gonna work, even though Jack values his own life more than Jill's. not a chop but a better hand, i.e. the nuts. how?

lol you guys are truly noobs. pacifist got the solution with full houses and quads and blockers that i had in mind when i made the thread, but yugless comes very close to winning too because there is only one 9d in the deck so A5d does count as the second nuts because you cant have 98d and K9d at the same time. So yeah A5dd vs 89dd does work BUT i thought of the straight flush example and thats why i put in the line "She legitimately manages to bluff Jack off a better hand ***and is sure its gonna work***". In pacifist's example Jill can be sure it works because Jack CANNOT have quad kings when Jill has AK. But in yugless' example Jack CAN have K9dd and win as well as the 98dd he folds, so there's no way for Jill to be SURE.
