Basically, the world economy is like one of those old TV contests where there is a cabin with money flying around and the guy which in this case are the central banks try to catch it all... in the end as time goes by the central banks will get all the money in the world.

Sadly its not doomed to collapse since when this system reaches a critical point the central banks can just condone hundreds of trillions of dollars to avoid this collapse and give the world some kind of infusion of real money, but they would still own the world and continue to do that.

Adolf Hitler is a saint compared to people like David Rockefeller who is responsable of 100 times more deaths and grief in this world and the sad part is that atleast Hitler did it for a conviction in his dreams, the rockefellers, rotschilds, morgans etc do it only to put the world in shackles.

Zeitgeist was ruined for me because of the idiotic way they dealt with the first two parts of the movie... they are so obviously retarded in almost every single "proof" and attempts at logic even though the general idea seems right esp for the first part, that I have a hard time deciding if I should trust the third one where I have no knowledge at all. It's a very interesting subject though, I might watch this

Half of the Zeitgeist was stupid, mostly because i had thought about it before, and the other part, which i had given no thought, sounded reasonable. Seems to be a trend with these types of movies.

Just because you figured out religion was bullshit before watching zeitgeist doesnt make that part stupid, actually i found it a bit interesting since there were a few things i didnt know, not that i found it relevant but some religious people might.

i dont get why shouldnt you "trust" the third part i didnt see them make a false claim in the prior 2 parts.

This is so genius. I bet you that what poker sites are doing with our money too... They assume not everyone will cash out at once so then they use up all the deposited money to open more freaking poker sites until they have about 20 different skins. I bet there is probably less than 20 percent in their reserve of all deposits made.

Banks are there to make sure you manage your money at their bank so they can use your hard earned money to make EZ money by lending it away and collecting interest.

I would recommend watching The Money Masters. It runs along the same lines as Zeitgiest but more detailed and comprehensive.

as an economist reading this makes me cringe so hard rofl

banks are required to maintain a reserve ratio (in most countries though not the UK oddly enough), which is pretty much what is a "reasonable" amount to satisfy withdrawlls.

reserve ratio also limits the money multiplier effect and therefore controls money supply

dunno what everyone thought the bank did with their money, and dunno really how people can possibly complain about it either.

I think the matter that troubled me the most with zeitgeist is the part about 9/11
such a huge conspiracy theory should be supported with a more thorough research and with a more scientific approach to be that easily taken for granted.
I mean I started questioning all the other stuff after I saw this part.
Everyone can find facts to support any theory,but these are serious accusations that should be looked into more thoroughly
