k heres the scoop i made a video with roman and i playing and talking cant get it to work(many ppl smarter then me and obv way smarter then roman have tried to help)

sooooooo i made another video(we were both drunk in the 2nd one) was gonna put that one up but still rendering(wtf is rendering?) all night. Im heading to AC then LV tonight so not sure if i can get it to work hopefully its salvageable

If I understood it correctly, you have the sound working in the camrec project file right? Can't you save the audio-track seperately and then merge it with the video~_~?

there is no video

ok, thor and roman successfully rendered 35 minutes of working video from their second attempt, but after 14 hrs only 35 mins out of an hour had rendered. but, that portion is available here (not a rickroll or something stupid):

i'll see what i can do to help them get the rest of this video rendered, because it's pretty good (obviously i previewed it before uploading). if not, maybe i can convince thor to do a tandem video with me, but i'll handle all the computer stuff i believe the deal w/ naz was an hour long video, so, yeah

it's cuz the source file is massive and the resolution is monster

for instance, CR vids are reduced to like like 320*240 16bit and they just interpolate it up via filters to make them appear larger; full rendering a very large 1600*1200 @ 32bit would take years (literally) even with a severly cut framerate

best to use virtualdub for these types of things in the future imo; thx for trying and it's def an entertaining and amusing vid

helps a lot. will get virtual dub for the future. but for reference, to use camtasia and avoid this problem, is there a setting we need to change when creating the video in the first place, or can we fix it after it's been created (in the production process)?
