i think how pt4 works, and flows as you play is better, and the layout. but as, how to use the stats, the numbers, info you can get out of the software, HEM2 seems to have a lot more, and its all better n stuff.
there's this small annoying things in PT4 like
- can't export w/stats easily to LP
- you don't see HHs everywhere, in HEM1 in all stats reports there's a window with hands histories all you have to do it click PT4 is so bad in this reports etc.
- on the table it doesn't show pot size in last 5 hands so when I want to get reads retrospectively I have to click on every single icon on each table, look for big pot click again
- stats in popups show instanced even when there's 0 sample. HEM stops showing instances without hovering with large samples too it just gets annoying
- stats are weird, named arbitrarily (probe bet wtf) and many are missing - need to spend even more time on setting up the ones I want
They just drove me crazy really but I guess I need to spend hours trying to get used to them or finding workarounds... or I guess buy SSD get used to HEM2 change everything all over again another time wasted.
+ i asked ppl i know on skype that play poker, one of them said I was a "faggot" if i didn't use hem2 (and I thought to myself, lol, i don't want to be that).

which is lighter as a software pt4 or HEM2? seems like HEM2 will suck hard for me without a SSD, althought i got a quadcore with ddr3s and etc etc lol
its not about SSD but HEM2 does require about 2GB in ram per 500k hands in your database to run smoothly
Stopped using both software, since they both wouldn't support the french poker's sites. I guess that was another reason why I stopped playing online. Now can they support it ?
I remember I had a really hard time to configure the HHs history for PT1 or 2 and I'm not sure if I'd ever want to use it again >_<
Shin-il : Yeah it was very very very good for me too. Rekrul : YOU MOTHER FUCKING FUCKING SON OF A BITCH

PT4 definitely needs less resources from your computer.
