I was asked by bluff magazine to submit an article for their magazine this month.

However, im not really sure what i should write about.

Jman (omgclayaiken on ftp) wrote an article for them, and it is phenomenal: http://www.bluffmagazine.com/onlinefeature/gbucks.asp

My article will be shorter, but you see what type of thing im looking for.

Any ideas on what I should write about? Something you have trouble with in your game? anything at all?

i think itd be a really cool idea for u to analyze some tough hands in depth w/ math. i personally learned a whole whole lot when u reasoned out my AK hand w/ me using math and i can see how it can help others in a variety of situations. why not compile a list of really tough hands from the LP and 2+2 database and go from there?

i'd rather go with dynamics of farting at the table

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by running away from the scene of an accident.

key differences between online play and live play?

also, the entire universe seems to be "all about shorthanded," glorifying ultra aggressive and looser play. I think it would be interesting to write about full ring, and how to abuse such ultra LAG shorthanded lovers. You seem to be one of the few people who remains very profitable in fullring regardless of opponents.

that would be cool

Being affected by girls at the table

oh no really
dynamics at the table
maybe u can analize some of your hands and explain your thought process
like value betting, fold set vs set
that would be really cool

i hate most of above ideas (except how to abuse lags)
north idea is ok but i think its better to focus on explaining a concept than focusing on a very specific hand
write about something people havent heard a tons about ( the article u linked is one of these, i think its good)

heres some ideas of mine:
What to do vs a wild(but good) button in BB vs button wars (how to play OOP vs aggro ppl)
how to steal pots by abusing position
Explain in detail which flop textures are good for bluffing/floating and which ones arent

i will think about it some more

but something about folding set is stupid imo, this is very situationnal most people already have an ok idea of when its correct to (not that they do it thought)

write about how you folded AA preflop because you thought you could find a better spot*

Daut, ask yourself this question. What would you like to see (insert your favorite poker player here, I would pick Negraneau) write about? If you still can't think a topic, heres a list that might help you strike up an idea.

1. Differences between Online and Live Poker

2. Final Tabling a big event vs. sitting at home watching the a big event

3. Defining poker

Hope this helps!

only thing i can think of atm is going in depth into fold equity. maybe talk about a few general situations and really get deep into the math and such.

Floofy   Canada. Mar 24 2007 18:17. Posts 8708

talk about what to do when ur 3 betted by a good lag player in position (aka you raise AQ on CO and the button 3 bet you, like 100$ effective stacks, blinds fold). what kind of plans on different flops, etc

I, however, am improving on it. And because I’m as egotistical as Sklansky, I’ll be naming my idea after me. Introducing “Galfond DollarsDaut dollars” (GD-Bucks for short):
