I dont know, my brain has to agree with the merit of folding the flop but I just cant completely wrap my head around doing it for some reason. |

Find a better spot? If he shows you the nuts here and you stack off with an over pair thats pretty embaressing considering there was barely any action preflop. But if your putting him on a draw why not just call then if no draws complete, you safely call off the rest? He might possibly check river too if hearts or straight come but then you turn your hand into a bluff and jam. I like folding turn better but if i was going with it I like putting money in on river as second best choice. |

imo games tend to get straightforward when there are way too cally unbluffable stations. if thats the case, villain might be after the fish's money with some weaker holdings and calling flop is mandatory. on the turn, im not sure there are that many combodraws that he would lead like this to justify shipping, im with huhu and would fold the turn
do you think its possible that villain has different gameplans for different flop scenarios and he might slow down if called by cosmo? if he is capable of turning all his weaker hands into bluffs, well props to him |

Folding flop feels super weak and really dirty, but don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of my situation in calling flop. Think turn is prolly more of a standard fold than I originally thought. |

he's not bluffing the turn considering ur stupid bet vs him
bluffing that turn would be too much life variance for a nit like him |

last summer i was sitting around the wynn waiting for a seat in a 5/10 or w/e and actiondj comes up to me and this other reg and is like lets just start a 3 handed 10/20 and hope fish join
im like bleh ok fine
i raise 20 hands in a row from every position and they both fold pre every time
actiondj then sucks out a 10k pot qq vs my aa
actiondj then says 'well if no one joins in 30 mins i'm gunna leave' |

I have no clue what I am talking about,
but this seems like a shove
leading on the flop is something I think he does to see where he stands vs the other guys... he knows he can't make that fish fold if it hit something.. and he knows you can't call to weak if those other guys call.
then he gets it HU vs you, no reason not to double barrell with a lot of stuff
in short I think his range is definitely wide enough here to shove |

I would probably just fold the flop, choosing to focus on extracting value from the rec. players instead of taking one pair all in against a (presumably) very good player when stacks are semi-deep. |

considering the nice unnecessary bump we demand results (hoping you shoved the turn) |

In a hypothetical world, I might have hypothetically called, and the river hypothetically could have been the , and he hypothetically could have checked and which point I hypothetically would have decided it was a bad idea to try and bluff therefore letting him hypothetically win with his hypothetical QJo. |
