Villain is 22/17 with 74% fold to 3bet over 500 hands. He has 4bet 0 times out of 18. Steals 39% from BTN. No dynamic or interesting history.

Against this guy I can obv 3bet/fold ATC until he adjusts. I'm folding JJ to a 4bet for sure. I think he is the kind of guy who flats a 3bet with QQ/AK and only ships KK/AA.

My problem with 3betting JJ oop is basically that it's hard for me to win a big pot unless I spike a J. The only flops I really like are something like 7 high or lower since I can get action from 88-TT. The T high flop looks good but I really don't know what to do.

On the turn I'm betting for protection only since he could have A high FD's/floats that turned a gutshot. I my bet is folding out pp's below T and I don't think ATs is in his range. The problem is that if he has TT or QQ I'm stacking off.

I'm considering just calling pre with JJ and play against a weaker range and keep 3betting him light since he folds so often.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

once again - stop comparing his stacking off range to yours.. just because you need a big pair to stack off dosn't mean he does.. you have no idea what his calling range is, he just just put you on AK and call with 88, or T8s A3s etc... It's very wrong + costly to your bankroll assuming that everyone plays like you

Ok thanks. I guess I question my play too much when I'm running bad.

He plays like this with any pp ak aq ajs. so basically you are losing to sets and a poorly played qq. You get value from a ton. Bet Bet Bet Call Call Call

eh it's not that bad to flat QQ in position to a 3b

on second thought your right but i think his range is weighted away from qq in the sense that other hands in his range are more likely to take this line
