how do you fold here after calling that preflop bet AND seeing this flop

fold pre imo
JJ is like a cutoff, shove QQ+ AK, but fold JJ , i dont expect to be ahead very often here

let me clarify this if you're still baffled. THE ONLY REASON YOU CALL PRE is you think you're vs AQ/AK the board comes under cards to your pair ( OPTIMAL SITUATION) and you fold WTF

that said you should probably fold pre

i'd say call pre if the other guy hadn't shoved over the raise...in this case it's pretty easy fold pre.

as played i think you have to shove flop.

shoving here as a bluff at 50NL is like explaning calcalus to a 6 month old cat wtf are you thinking - TalentedTom

We call to get it in vs midstack if we know he is retarded (high probability). This would be a math question imo for how wide the midstack shoving range has to be if we think original raiser continues only with QQ+ AK, raises 7% and we fold/c/f if he does continue.

Who will give me that exact range will get a candy :o

93% Sure!

prob fold ;0]
10/7 is kinda ridicilous, you beat 99 / 88 (not by much) you are crushed by JJ-AA..

this is why i perfer playing without a hud, so I can shove here and be happy about it

on that note - shove prelfop to isolate the shortstacker next time

Im suprised that people keeping these haters in the community anyway

i think decision should be made pre and i should ship coz 7% is not that narrow and he might fold even hand strong as QQ coz he is so nitty

obv i screwed up pre but I would still play the same post even if i wouldnt time out coz with his aggression he would probably try go to showdown with AK-AQ type hand

As much as most of us think pre was a mistake postflop was a huge mistake.
your logic that you should fold when you think he will show down AQ is ridiculous you should be ecstatic to get it all in on that flop when someone has AQ or AK vs your JJ

some people are giving you advice with logical reasoning and you are ignoring the arguments and going with your own. as much as i don't appreciate people calling eachother retards for no reason, you shouldn't ask for help if you aren't prepared to take advice.

shove or fold, calling is silly because it will encourage the origional raiser to just call with AK or something and play fit or fold on the flop, and you don't want lower pairs to catch up for cheap.

Rescom   United States. Feb 06 2010 22:41. Posts 133

There was a raise and a huge overbet all in, fold pre flop and save your money. The original raiser was still to act and you would be dominated most of the time in this situation with JJ. Blindly shoving your money away is silly. Calling and checking a 10 high board then folding is also silly. You made 2 mistakes here, you played JJ when ya shouldnt have in a squeeze. Then you got your optimal flop then check/folded.

QQ maybe ... KK AA different story, easy shove pre, but you gave the guy behind you odds to call with just about anything that he could raise with. Long story short, fold pre.

whats funny in this?

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 41.915% 41.12% 00.80% 174602877 3389920.00 { 66+, AJs+, KQs, AQo+ }
Hand 1: 57.927% 57.36% 00.80% 243588000 3393397.50 { JJ }

and even if his ep range is tighter than that he is so nitty that he can fold hands strong as AK and QQ

as I said, I like green star advice just ship pre
