I bet cause the A is a good card to rep vs stations. Not playing much live but I'd probably bet most rivers with notable exceptions being Q's. |

i lead flop for under 1/2 pot intending to reraise any action behind, or check/raise much bigger like 1200 |

idea of flatting blowing my mind also. i think in a live game like this there's probably more EV in just jamming for a huge overbet than flatting |

Young kid cbets too much, passive guy calls to much... lots of dead money in the pot, easiest flop raise of life. As is a good card to barrel on as he folds most 1 pair hands and calls with most drawing hands. Obviously planning to bet most rivers.
On the turn you have 3450 left effective and 1500 in the pot. Bet 1075 on turn and shove 2375 into 3650 on almost any river.
This is kind of fish dependent but I think there is a lot of merit in jamming when you miss and check/calling when you hit. This will be the case when the number of drawing hands that will bluff when checked to is greater than the number of made hands he will pay you off with when you shove yourself - I think this is a good spot to consider this river line. |

agreed that if he calls the turn you'll probably be happier to not see a diamond river - though if were not convinced were going to check fold the river to a bet when we river a flush then shoving has to be way better |

also no matter what i do on the flop, i find a way to giggle at some snippet of conversation going on at the table, right as i'm putting down my drink (so that i almost spit out my drink with my laughter)
ultimate display of confidence, plus it makes people laugh and everyone folds when they are laughing |

i think constantly putting bets into the pot after a lot of indecisive hand-gestures, trembling excessively, and releasing a BIG sigh after every correct call is a really good way to convince people that you can't ever bluff. especially if you make a call like...
you raise JJ, someone calls. T22 you bet they call, turn 4 you check they check, river 6 you check, they bet 2/3 pot, you think for a while and flat. they show TX and your hands are shaking so much that you fumble your cards as you try to flip them over. then you go "PHEW" and exhale as you start to rake in the pot
lol nobody will ever think you're bluffing after that |
