How can it be virus? I turn that computer off and connect a different computer to the modem with cable and I have the same exact problem!
I also tried a 3rd computer via wireless router into the modem and same exact problem again.
Also my when I use an iPhone to connect to internet via wireless I have the same problem of not being able to open anything.
Unless the Virus is in the modem!!! I have no idea how this can be a virus problem.

it's not a virus if all your stuff doesn't work, so it's probably the router getting fucked up by something or broke inside. Get a new router/modem and should be fine |

I'm not sure, but try manually set some public dns server (your usual dns may be down), but I may be totally off :-) |

wait a second, how can you have a wireless network if the modem is directly connected to your pc?
I used to do this for a living im pretty sure I can figure it out, just keep replying |

is ur modem setup as a PPPoE connection? Try making it work in bridge only mode and run the PPPoE from whatever is routing your connection.
if you are just seriously running your modem directly to all of your pcs try reseting (there should be a small button you can push with a toothpick or pen or something) your modem but make sure you know your username/password for your PPP stuff. |

also try flushing your DNS before doing any of that
to do that in vista click the start button then in the search thing at the bottom type in "cmd" and hit enter.
in the dos screen type ipconfig /flushdns |

looks like a faulty line. packets being dropped at an incredibly high rate cos u have an incredibly unreliable line and so only services which send packets unordered and which can tolerate packet loss.
hard to say without more info, but the 100% connectivity in PS goes against this.
OR------
some of ur ports could just not be functioning. try to do a port scan. if the lower numbers fail then thats it.
really your isp, fucking hell they should fix this. |

Well #1 Try a direct connection which I'm sure you already did (aka get rid of the router and just plug your modem directly into your PC. If that doesn't work you can fiddle around with all the stuff someone suggested or just get them to send a tech because there is a good chance the modem is fried. Any storms in your area recently? |

I do have also have a router but im not using it at the moment to keep things simple.
@CrownRoyal
I just did press the small button on the modem w a pencil and nothing happens.
I also did the flushdns thing in cmd.
Zero success so far.
@Genjix
In PS it actually say that no package gets lost!
How can I scan the ports?
@Yanchi
How can I setup this DNS thing?

This sounds like a very classic case of virus infection, likely redirecting your URL requests for whatever reason. Have you run a quality virus scanner on your pc yet? Go grab yourself a copy of kaspersky right now. In fact, do it from someone elses pc and throw the shit on a thumb drive to transfer to your machine. Often these infections which hijack your internet have rogue sites set up to look like legitimate anti-virus sights, further infecting you as you think you are surfing symantec.com and are really on a cloned site. |

But how come all three computers have the same exact problem?
I have also checked and the internet transfer rate(KBin/out) is around 1/20th of what it is normally. |
