$5/10 at Venetian. Table is very tough compared to most $5/10 games but still softer than most $2/4 games online. Everyone is 300+bb deep. I start the hand with about $4k, p3achy covers. He's been playing like 80/50 so far, and I've gotten the best of him in several pots. I don't think he's taking it too seriously but he's definitely not purely splashing around either.
UTG random limps, p3achy limps, I raise to $60 with , both limpers call. Flop is . They check to me, I bet $120, first limper folds, p3achy calls.
Turn is . p3achy leads $320. Thoughts?
I planned to call turn and call any river that didn't improve my hand, raise for value on river Q/T/h, perhaps fold on a non-heart king. What about raising the turn?
I haven't played with p3achy much so I don't have any more detailed reads, except that I do (for various reasons) think that he's capable of check/calling the flop and leading the turn with total air. (Am I wrong about that?) |

uhh i dont see a reason to raise turn, i mean i assume he would iso a better Q pre so it doesnt make sense to fold him off it no ? I guess Id call and call any river that doesnt make the flush. |

i kinda like this, and afterward p3achy talked about raising the turn to induce a shove, which is why i made the thread |

fold
LOL couldn't resist
ok thats obviously a joke
ye i like ur line a lot, the only reason i wouldn't do the raise turn is cuz i think peachy might turn to stone imagining the extreme power of my hand with my image however thats neither here nor there. the main reason why i like ur original line better is because its peachy keen and i hardly have a read on him to make such a thin play. not to mention its such a wierd spot that i think he'll be more comfortable with than I, in the moment. in which case i think that he'd make better decisions in the marginal spot than i would leading me to have a lot of variance and be kinda lost. I'm not saying im right im just sharing my thoughts of why i wouldn't raise |

there are 0 hands that make sense for him to ship it over a large raise on the turn except all the bullshit he is taking this line with
maybe a retarded played QJ but that's about it. |

flat the turn
shove river over his bet if you don't improve because he's folding his entire range no matter what (this is peachy we are talking about here...LMAO)
if you improve make a gayish raise size to try and get some value |

Mm, shoving rivers is really a decent move. I think a decent regular most likely will have Q4s/KQ/AQ if he bets river normally and T9 some of the time if he overbets , so you should flat turn and fold/shove river. But Peachy knows we know how a reg thinks, so he could outlevel us. Bad thing for him is that his strongest hand is a weirdly played QJ, which probably check-raises turn anyway. |

he never in a million years can ever even be close to having QJ because he limped preflop
QJ is literally 0% given the way the game is going |
