I really Like sports Anime, I whatched Prince of Tennis and Slam Dunk, then i found this one. Its called one Outs is still new so teh episodes are still being written in japan. To put it simply its about Baseball but with Mind Fucks. The main character is teh Pitcher who is a profesional Gambler including Poker, with the ability to SOUL READ his oponents. What makes this show intresting is that his contract is not normal. He gets payed 10k for every out he gets and he has to pay 50k for every run he allows, his manager is money hungry so he makes it so that he has to pitch in unfavorable conditions. You guys shoudl chek it out.

you should check out KAIJI

this is as close to poker and Death Note as i've seen in an anime (altho it has gaping flaws, its still a great attempt)

oh and recommend other mind-games anime to me =)

haha I just watched the whole show while I was really drunk. I like to think that all of Taura's soul-read pitches represent 100k hands. So, if he had a read that the other guy would aim low, that means winning 51% of the hands. You guys have any other interpretations of this?

I love tennis. I tried to watch Prince of Tennis once, watched the first episode, but it looked so ridiculous that I didn't even bother watching the rest. Same with Captain Tsubasa

Makito: i shortstack nl2 and made it 3.80

Anybody ever watched Hajime No Ippo? It's an anime/manga about boxing and got some cool characters.... It doesn't take itself too seriously and it's a light read or watch (depending if you like the manga or anime more...)

Try Major or Hajime No Ippo for sports anime. My favorites. I think I watched like 29 episodes of Major in one sitting (no nerd).
