Wow this show is pretty good and I'm hooked now. The main character definitely reminds me of Akagi of the anime Akagi about a apathetic prodigy becoming the greatest at mahjong only because the mind games interested him etc. You should check it out on crunchyroll. |

wow...that was fucking stupid. i just stabbed my eyes out.
i watched 10 minutes and 15 seconds... terrible.
all their philosophy is flawed and crazy, and i know a lot about japanese baseball.
so obv the writer doesn't know anything, and to the ignornant sports fan, this seems awesome, but it's all weird wrong and stupid. Fail on the writers part, not op. |

They obviously take some literary license and make things more epic then they should be but I still think it's fun to watch. Reminds me of Akagi and Death Note in the type of mind games and strategies that they use against each other. Episodes 7 and 8 are out already. |

Well, i guess you can describe it like : let's consider i'm a tennis player irl, and whenever i watch prince of tennis i've nothing but to skip all the matches scenes because it's just so overly exagerated. Maybe the story would be good to hear (haven't watched all the episodes) but the match scene just suck, so it may be the same for whoever play baseball.
Everytime i see captain hawk, i'm like omg stop this running scene this is just ridiculous. But hey that's just me. |
