Player calls behind 2 raisers from BB. Open shoves flop w 2 ppl yet to act. Looks like he has a flush draw to me. He could maybe have 2 overcards like AK (RR pf), AQ or KQ and be a favourite to win but pot odds mean I should call. If he had TP (J) then he'd make a bet instead of shoving.

So I call w mid pair.

Turns out he had gutshot + flush draw. Thinking about it now it could have been a fold. What do you reckon?

If you're trolling, ok gj. If not, don't post results to hands if you want serious advice. You've posted like three straight hands where you detail your thought process, show that you were about right, and then ask us if we think that you were correct in doing a move that turned out to be correct when we have no info on you or villain, and haven't played a $3 sng in quite some time.

A good post should cut off the hand history at the point you want to discuss so maybe:

villain shoves
hero say "fml, wat"

or something like that. In addition you should try to include reads or stats on the villain, and insight into how you are perceived at the table. You'll get much more out of posting that way.

On another note, I think you should stop playing SNGs and move to 6 Max cash games at FTP. NL25 is super soft if you play US peak hours. You've got what it takes.

According to poker calculator I was 43% to win, so I made a losing play this time. There's also one player to act behind me who could have a Jack. If you look at my hands I've posted, half of them I've lost so I don't see why you're all being dicks. I'm asking for advice.

No you didn't make a losing play, because you put in less than 43% of the money (barely, right? I'm not opening a calculator for this). So it was cEV+. But the point is, it doesn't matter what he had, it matters what he can have in that spot (lots of shit, this being a $3 tourney, there being dead money, etc). So the question you want is whether you do well against the range of hands he makes that play with. My guess is no, but SNGs aren't my thing. And also, I wasn't being a dick, I was showing you to structure a strat post to ask for advice. And no else was being a dick either, they were being hilarious.

i think the funniest part is your chat, where you write

"Hero said, "i only shove good hands"
Hero said, "unlike donks""

while one of (frankly im inclined to say the main), the defining qualities of a good turbo sitngo player is that he will not only shove good hands
as for hand advice, the guy has less than 5 bb after posting and can be pushing virtually anything. i wouldnt be shocked to find him have T2o here, wouldnt be surprised to see j9 either tho. but either way, call.

LOL! Dude! I'm crafting my image at the table as a tight player! I don't want to get called ever. I do this often.

ok. true, pot odds is like 38%. In sng's I don't usually factor in implied odds (like if he's holding junk .etc) because conserving my chips is important. One thing I do is assume no one ever bluffs. Also there's one person to act behind me, although I doubt he'd go all in with TP against 2 people tangoing when he's put very little money in.

I see all that humour.
