I've never played with villain before today. He is running 27/21/2 and playing on 2 of my tables, 6 tables total. I've got into a few 3bet pots with him, and I'm mostly beating him. He seems to be splashing around a fair bit but I don't have any concrete reads. He got his stack in this hand: http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/516131 Who calls and who folds?

fold, u need a little more history to be worried about the big idiot bluff and the overly thin value shove.

and you get that history by seeing his cards

I call, that ATo hand obviously dictates that he valueshoves waaayy too light. Pretty sure he's valueshoving any ten here

prefer betting a little less so you feel better about calling more

but call yeah

ok i was gonna say fold, HOWEVER i thought some more if he ever has us beat here he also has hands we beat so i think its fine to call here

i also think the most likely hand that beats us is exactly KT and almost nothing else.

its just hard to believe that this deep he'd wait til river for us to hear from him. I'm not saying thats always the case, but the likely hood lowers the freqeucny of hands that beats us vs hands that we beat

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by running away from the scene of an accident.

just based of that first hand.. sssnnnaapppp

Quite an obsurd line for a weaker hand though, but that AT hand is obsurd itself, definatley makes him capable of overplaying Tx here with the intention of hoping you have AK or something along that line. looks like hes just playing the strength of his hands without taking into acocunt what hes repping and what his opponents can call with*

pretty sure this is a profitable call. 78 is part of his range along with Tx, KT and flopped sets/2 pair.

Baal - look is talking hah.

the only way you are beat him check calling sets/2pair, this is so unlikely you just have to call here youll have the best hand a lot i think

You almost twin-caracked his AK - JonnyCosmo

seemed like he was shoving as a call not a value-bet lol.

but u guys are right though, people are getting more stupidly aggressive by the minute, no reason to make big folds in todays games.

I think you where beat here a fair bit, but whatever, pot odds and shit.

Nah. I tanked for like 15 seconds, reasoned that I only lost to KT and maybe T9, said fuck it, and called. He showed J9cc and I shipped it. He was like "sick call" then 2 hands later I stacked him with 23s flopping a flush vs his 2 pair with JT on JT8ccc. After that he called me a lucky donk. Fun times.

I was gonna say he's getting to the river with loads and loads of hands here, so its just how high a %age of them he's turning into bluffs, and theres so many hands he has to get to the river here that I think you have to call.

poker is soooo much easier when you flop sets
