9 handed live 100bb effective

UTG $200
me BU $200

UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, I raise to 14 on button with QJhh, all fold to UTG who calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop Qd3s10c (pot $39)

UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, I bet 16, UTG raises to 36, UTG+1 folds, I call

Turn Qd3s10c4d (pot $111)

UTG bets 70, I ?

If i call pot on river is 250 with 80 effective remaining? shit is kinda weird on the turn if i call even though i really wanna bluffcatch here. but with the 4d coming in maybe i should protect vs all the gutters that might give up river but make a bad bet/call on turn

id bet bigger on flop tbh. I dont see a point whatsoever tbh to betting THIS small. Id be betting 22-28 here depending on the players. Betting smaller is pointless because smaller than 22 really doesnt get us much lighter calls. And we are at best going to be getting 2 bets here. so betting 16 means our 2nd bet is going to be smaller also. The size of your bets on earlier streets robs money from the bets youre getting later on. So if you decide to bet small in a vaccum spot it better be a really good reason imo. An example might be betting this amount if the board was 277 and you had an overpair. In which case you can get people to peel you with QT or some shit. But in this spot a fish is going to be fairly inelastic live on this board texture. So IMO its a waste. As played. eh. tbh i might fold the flop because I dont see how this plays out favorably later on. definitely folding the turn. If for some reason this guy is epicly spazzy or something and u are determined to bluff catch. Id just ship now with only 80 remaining. If he folds KJ that is a victory for us. But we definitely dont want to let him get away with checkfolding river with it. All that said. I think its a really easy fold.

well he was the super spewy type and i bet small on this board to induce cause i'm good 90%+ and i know he will not want to fold. Maybe i should have made that more clear in the OP. I shipped turn and he folded.

I agree I should have bet a bit larger on flop

I see I didn't put info on villain at all in the OP in a hand that needed it my bad. Vs your standard FR nit this will be 33 all day and even hands like AQ vs not many bluffs and it's a shit spot

Ic. i mean like i said i personally wouldnt go over 28 most of the time here just because i want him to peel gutshots and all his pairs. but i think hes just as liable here to spaz out when u bet 22 than 16. but the times he doesnt spaz. and just does a checkcall line. we lost 6$ plus whatever amount less were gonna bet on the turn. but ye agreed. u decided he was spazzing because of your read so u shipped turn. So we are in agreement o_0.

betsizing was why he spewed but its going to affect ur bottom line a ton.

i bet 25 by default in live games here, 22-28 online, ppl grab 5 red chips ez to call any pair or draw

No not remotely a brag spot. It is about after I have already decided I can't fold turn for better or for worse is it better to call turn or shove. Kinda why I didn't put a bunch of OP info I was really just asking what you do on turn once you have decided to continue

Called a big river overbet on QxQx8c6c4c with 1010 a few orbits after this hand. If I wanted to post brag hands they would be more interesting than this OP. I had a real question and Doomer answered it well and thoroughly which I appreciate.
