[Movie] Avengers: Age of Ultron

Yeah I've been wondering why nobody hasn't picked it up yet. Plus it could have a lot of prequels aside from the sequels they could make from the franchise. It did have a huge following too

Don't know what you're talking about but superhero movies lately have been fan-fucking-tastic except for the new Spider-Man series. Captain America 2, Guardians, Avengers have been great. I haven't even seen the second Spider-Man because I assume it'll suck as much as the first one.

Agreed its ridiculous, for the past 5 or more years movies have slumped hard in quality while TV series have done the opposite.

Most comics are for kids and its ok to see one once in a while turned into a movie but now its all there is, and its awful, the plots are childish, the characters mono-dimentional and they are predictable as fuck and well its logical since its a mother fucking comic, obviously Thor isn't going to die.

Its surreal to me that intelligent adults want to see some fucking cheesy hero save the world from this evil guy who wants to destroy it, srsly grow the fuck up.

yeah i agree theyre obv milking the shit out of the franchises now. when i saw the commercial for the new hunger games and its titled something something part 1 i instantly knew its getting milked for all its worth and prob will be cheesier compared to the last two

@Baal, there are more superhero movies for sure but i think there are a lot more movies and TV shows being released nowadays too. It feels impossible to keep up with all of them.

@Khan, I saw that Akira movie when I was like 8-10 and had some horrible nightmares due to the mutation part

I'm really looking forward to Tusk and Interstellar coming out

the fault in our stars

then theres fun and good stuff like the lego movie, guardians of the galaxy, dawn of the planet of the apes.. edge of tomorrow is also great, although I see how the ending irks some.

then there's action like the raid 2
and then I actually really enjoyed captain america the winter soldier, and I'm gonna enjoy this one as well. But it's not like the influx of superheroes means there aren't other great movies being made, personally I can't think of a single year with more good movies than 2014, I think like literally past 6-7 movies I've seen (from 2014) have left me with a "whoa this was awesome!" feeling.

Good superhero movies like The Avengers or Guardians are just fun. I think the last X-men movie was pretty boring, kinda surprised people liked it so much, and pretty much all the latest Thor,Iron Man and co standalone movies were just bad.

Last X-men was the best comic book movie ever ^^

X-Men & the newest Batman movies are my favorites. I watch the Superhero movies with a different mindset. I'm not watching hoping to see a work of art, just purely for entertainment. As a whole, the Superhero movie genre seems to be either really good or absolute shit

And thats what you get with X-men they are not a work of art but they are entertaining and decent, the only superhero movie that I consider a work of art is The Dark Knight

did you watch watchmen? imo #1 superhero/cartoon based movie, and I think you would enjoy the storyline.. and Rorschach is one of the coolest misanthropes out there ;P
