Crazy I think... Aren't you only getting him off of complete air at that point? What could he be folding that you don't beat with your bottom pair anyway? Like 9T of hearts that he made the thinnest valuebet ever with that he then decided to turn into a rebluff? I can't see how this is good

The problem with this river spot is this. You can't have nut hands due to turn action. The best you can rep is Ax or Ax 2pair. Especially the Ax hands just call river so your river raise reps nothing.

This is prob why he 3bet

Yeah I sensed that he sensed this so I shoved in case he had a hand that hand turned bluff that beat bottom pair. Lol I'm a lunatic when it comes to poker.

EDIT: He bet 15 on the river, which was viewed as a blocking/I want to get to showdown bet, which led me to believe he had bottom pair beat, and not a naked missed draw.

I made this post to brag about my poker sixth sense. Anywho, maybe just results oriented and lucky.

I don't expect an average opponent to bet/3bet the river here and fold, but if you had a read then sure. Probably still a losing play...

nh, yea i figured you picked up on that and that is why you jammed. Good that you go with your gut no matter how extreme the play seems

if you have a soul read on this player it's not something that shows up in HH

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen
