Hi,
I'm not sure if there are any who still regularly visit this site, but I have a quick question: My wife and I met with our accountant today, and she told me that all poker income is taxable. In other words, every deposit from Skrill or Neteller which reaches ANY bank account I have is subject to personal income tax.

I seem to recall reading in earlier years this was not the case. Was I/Am I mistaken?

I have no idea, but you can always use your neteller card (or cash) to pay for stuff

Don't think it is?

I read an article, the government is looking into it. Online poker isn't regulated so what you do isn't exactly legal, and much like prostitution therefore it will be problematic to tax it. Timescale is around 2016 for that.

At least I don't plan on filing a tax return and just pay health insurance

probably poker in your country is one of those weird cases, where your country wants to regulate it, but actually it's against European law which says that there should be free delivery of services/goods within EU. Considering taxes have already been paid in Malta (where stars.eu is located), your government cannot do anything if players go to court for it.

"(3) Od daně jsou, kromě příjmů uvedených v § 4, osvobozeny

Hey. At least the majority of your guys' country isn't fat. And lazy as fuck.

Deal with tax. Sex with blonde sexy biscuits. Or even brunettes... Sometimes I imagine they're wearing green underwear....

Excuse me while I send more applications to some fucking banks and marketing firms.
