he check calls 120

river is Qx

he checks, I bet 300, he cr's to 800.

then I show him 77, and he tells me to wait he'll show me a card (lol, I wasn't mucking was just showing to get a reaction)

some random meaningless talk I can't remember and then he shows me an 8x out of his 4 cards.

some more random meaningless chatter I forget but he tells me he thought I was going to muck but I told him I was not lol.

then I tell him let me pick one more card, and he agrees.

I pick the one of the cards and it's a 2x

I ask him to see one more card, and he again agrees.

I pick a card and it's a Kx

so he has 2x8xKx?x

and he knows I have 7x7x?x?x

it's 500 more and there is roughly 1500 in the pot.

Raising here is not really an option obv so

A) Call
B) Fold

what would you do lol?

only history/reads I can give are

- he's obv not that good

- he's an old guy

- he talks/hollywoods a lot

- he is stuck and trying to get even

- he limps in vs my straddle 100% from bb, never raises first, never folds pre at least up till now (maybe 30 hands)

I'm a bit confused by the flop call BUT his hollywood with the check call in the dark (lolz) could be to prevent you to bet turn without an ace or anything stupid old livetard love to do.

I highly doubt he raise river with AK , you would know at this point if he was that terrible. AK and KK are the only hands that make sense with the 3 cards we know and his check in the dark call flop.

Against anyone who I haven't pegged as a genius at the talking game I snapfold this. This guy is a random old donk who keeps showing u an extra card the more you want to muck, he's super comfortable even engaging in conversation several times throughout your tank. He's shown you 3 ridiculous cards that combine to create a hand that makes no sense for him to c/c 2 streets and then c/r bluff. Fold for sure.

His sizing in general just seems really strong too
