last night i was railing a friend of mine who i had a % of in a Live 2/2 game when this hand happened, i just couldn't figure it out but you probably can

game has been on for 12 hours now.

8 handed
straddle is on everybody limps BB checks

flop [pot €32]
9d6h6c

gets checked around

turn [pot €32]
6s

SB checks
BB bets 24 (25 year oldish guy with 400 in front who probably plays some online talks a lot have not seen him make any mistakes so far)
folded to the button who calls (big, scruffy looking guy around 26 hasn't said a word, has 600ish in front of him)
SB folds

river [pot €80]
4d

BB bets 108
button tanks like 3 min and calls

what is your calling range here?

all nines.

overpairs would be played really differently.

Muck ace-highs 22-55 and probably 88-77.

My guess was BB had 76

SB had like 33/A-highs

edit: Misread hand.

the sb who led the turn is almost always on 9x or 6x here

vs such a big river bet, i'd assume hes on 6x here a very high % of the time

if im IP w/ 9x, TT+, here i call turn fold riverz in a multiway pot most the time (call smallish riv betz)

Just remember you need to be god damn sure about their tendencies. -Artanis11 http://www.pocketfives.com/profiles/neillyaa/

now i look "at spoiler"

this is just a read from playing a lot together in a deepish 2/2 game.

QK soulread 3 minute tank call seems good, J2 firing riv turn and river is terrible, too many people in the pot, c/f there. QK should have raised pre, unless the bb is gonna spaz alot and bet like 108 into 80 on the river with J hi.

That is what I thought I mean; the river bet is probably pretty awfull but can't he ever bluff with A-high here? Or is this such a polarizing bet on a polarized board that It is either bluff or the nuts?

Call is not that bad actually marshall since bb doesn't vbet anything except hands that aren't in his range other than quads lol

You don't seems to have much of a read on them for 12 hour of play.

lock the doors and don't ever leave this game

This wasn't in HC, but i play there often and basically, if you know how many cards are in a deck, there is money to be made there.

went to play this game this week (1.5k payday w00t) and happened to sit on this guys right and decided asked him about the hand.

he said he played with the BB before.and that he called the turn because he thought he might hit but he also might have the best hand already cause the BB was known for trying to pick up limped pots.
he was planning on letting it go against a bet on the river, but then the overbet came and he thought he was pretty much polarized there and seeing how his image was probably that of ''scared money'' he would never bet that much with a 6 or a 9 so in his mind he had to be bluffing. He said his only fear was that he was bluffing with A-high.

makes sense?
