Mayweather has given straight answers about Pacquiao already.
Mayweather doesn't think Pacquiao deserves 50/50 of the prize purse, because Mayweather feels he is the one drawing in most of the fans to live events/ppv/HBO 24/7, and he's correct.
There's also the issue with the blood test, but in the end, Pacquiao insisted he must have 50/50 of the prize purse, and Mayweather will only do 60/40.
I believe Pacquiao would make $30/$40 million if it was 60/40. Mayweather mentions the numbers in the latest 24/7 show.
Mayweather called Pacquiao on the phone to talk about the fight, Pacquiao got on the phone and just said "50/50", and hung up.
If you think Mayweather would ever dodge anyone in boxing, let alone Pacquiao, then I don't know what to say. I know there's some others on this board who hate on Mayweather, like Baal, but, trying to get people to see that Mayweather is superior to Pacquiao in boxing will never work when someone is set in their ways. |

Pacquiao would bring an entire country + surrounding countries to watch this fight. imo he has every right to demand 50/50. |

Sigh, it'd be the biggest purse in in sporting history if they just agreed to the fight. Mayweather got paid like $34M just for this fight against Cotto and I think it'd easily be $60M each for Pac / May if they just fucking agreed.
Also, I do not think anymore Mayweather has an edge over Pacquiao. The last fights for these guys has been the first time where they've been actually challenged in a long time. Mayweather got rocked this fight despite the win and he also lost his cool at the last 10 seconds of one of the rounds (I think R8) and you could tell he was mad LOL.
Pacquiao is going up against an exceptional boxer next month and I'm excited to see how he looks because he looked like shit vs Marquez. |

why do you think he doesnt have an edge now? i think the edge is most obvious than ever, Pacquiao barely won (and lost in many scorecards) to a guy who Mayweather absolutely destroyed and sure Marquez has a style that is difficult for Pac but just simply watching them it seems to me that Mayweather is in another league. |

I mean, using that logic then I can make the same argument for Pacquiao and how he completely obliterated Cotto whereas Mayweather, for the first time in his career, got fucked up. Also if you saw 24/7 with Marquez and Pacquiao then you know that Marquez said himself that he went into the Mayweather fight completely unprepared and regretted using the training methods to get ready. I mean, the guy drank his own urine to prepare for the fight, wtf. He was psycho.
I always thought Mayweather had an edge on Pacquiao but I just don't see it anymore. Pacquiao will always throw out combinations on a fighter that they have never seen coming and won't even notice them until the 8th round where all of a sudden their legs are wobbly :D. It doesn't matter who Pacquiao fights, he will always hit you and he can take hits very well and adjust instantly by throwing out the weirdest combination (Pac vs. Margarito).
During last Saturday's fight I just kept imagining that if Pacquiao was in Cotto's shoes and Mayweather was up against the ropes / corner getting assraped, Pacquiao would have finished it. |

pac will rape him easy. cotto seriously fucked him up in this fight and he was slow as shit. mayweather will probably win by grinding another 12 round faggot decision though. still i would enjoy watching mayweather get lit up for a good couple rounds by far a stronger and faster opponent (pac) |

Are you sure u saw the right fight? Cotto barely landed any punches and was getting counterpunched the hell out of him. I'm very impressed by cotto's chin, I think he coulda gotten knocked out by some of mw's punches. I think this fight was actually pretty entertaining for a MW fight despite his usual D whore tactics. |

just because you see blood from a persons mouth or nose doesn't mean they got fucked up. you can punch someone in the mouth once and have them bleed. I was rooting for Cotto, obviously, but he got counter punched the whole time and didn't land much, Mayweather keeps all his opponents under 20% punches landed, Cotto was no different. It looked like Mayweather didn't go as hard as he could have, they were showing respect throughout the fight, something Mayweather doesn't usually do while in the ring. If you re watch Pacquiao's last 2 fighs and think he can beat Mayweather, then I don't know what to say. Pacquiao has a lot to prove in his next fight next month, although I've never seen his opponent fight before. |

True but in Mayweather's case and reputation, he got pretty beat up. Bloody nose and mouth is more than anyone has ever done to Mayweather. Hence the name "Pretty Boy" Floyd. |

Nope, Mosley did way more than Cotto, Mosley actually rocked him hard Cotto just connected with a couple of punches and well the nose only needs a tap in a bad place to bleed, Floyd just trampled him as expected as i said in the beggining, stop pretending it wasnt a 8:1 fight. |

People see what they want to see sometimes, like with the Koshcheck/Hendricks fight. Some people thought Koscheck won, and that Hendricks is next in line for a title shot and that he can challenge GSP, all of which are false. |

Well in this case you are the one saying Hendricks is a threat to GSP... Cotto was never a serious threat to Mayweather, as usual Mayweather played it super cautiosly if he opened up just a bit he would have knocked him out |

Whatever I said above was supposed to mean this:
- Cotto lost. He got out-struck by a better fighter. I'd still take Cotto in a rematch vs. Pacquiao.
- Koscheck is overrated, and lost to Hendricks.
- Hendricks is a clone of Koscheck at the moment, but, he's still young his career and can improve, unlike the stubborn Koscheck.
- Both Koscheck and Hendricks are not a threat to GSP.
- I originally said that it seemed like Mayweather wasn't going all out on Cotto, they seemed to have a lot of respect for each other, like when you see 2 guys in MMA who are friends always tapping gloves in the fight and not wanting to kill the other guy. Mayweather could have done damage if he wanted to.
- I thought Cotto had a chance vs. Mayweather, even though I knew Mayweather was the better fighter, but, I was wrong. |
