He was a loose player who called a lot from the bb and would call 3 bets pretty light. Given stack sizes, should I overbet 3 bet shove preflop or play it like this?

How about for all my value hands in general(midpair+/A10+)? 3betshove or 3 bet/cbetshove?

also I think these should either be on "other games" or "tournament poker"

EDIT: even though I prob like jeff's line more, 3bet shoving is still great, that 3betsize you did there, not so much, its just the exact betsize that allows him to call and get you in a unconfortable spot on a decent amount of flops (not that his call is any good obv)

EDIT2: but vs this guy 540-580 -> shove most flops (trap others, sillybet 80 others) is still a lot better

to 2nd question, 3bet shove hands that flop terrible like 77-, A9-, and 3bet big hands that flop better/dominate his calling range

Everything player999 says is gold, but if your not sure about what to 3b to just jam, makes life MUCH easier.
