<img src="http://admins.liquidpoker.net/staff/Defrag/epttallin.jpg" align="right" style="margin:5px; border:1px solid black;">Ronny Kaiser has won the EPT Tallinn to become the first ever Swiss European Poker Tour winner. He had to beat 281 others to win €275,000 in the Estonian capital.
The 21-year old Kaiser had to battle a tough final table that consisted mostly of young talented players to win this title. With players like Sami "LarsLuzak" Kelopuro and Jani Sointula at the table, it was actually a bit of a surprise to see the players who started with the biggest stack to reach the heads-up. Those two players were Ronny Kaiser and the Polish Grzegorz Cichocki. Kaiser had the best of it and got his opponent to move all-in with , as he called with . An ace on the flop and a nine on the river made sure he won the event.
For Kaiser it was his first big live win, after playing around 10 EPT Main Events and several other big events. He's also known as one of the best Omaha cash game players as he regularly plays the €100/€200 games in Austria. Obviously he's delighted with his accomplishment: “It’s great to win. I’ve been chip leader for three days so I was really thinking this time I’m going to win it. I have had deep runs four or five times but always finished around 20th. Now my goal is to become the first ever Swiss World Series bracelet winner.“
Grzegorz Cichocki, 38, from Jedlina, near Wroclaw scooped €180,000 for his runner-up finish, the highest EPT place ever achieved by a Polish player. Raigo Aasmaa, 23, who came third, was the first Estonian to ever make an EPT Main Event final, earning €110,000.
