** High Stakes Hand of the Week ** - 3/2 - 3/8

In this $100/$200 Limit 7 Card Stud hand we see djforever making a few sick calls to win with a rather marginal hand. Starting with 7-2-2, he holds just the lowest possible pair. His opponent raises preflop, for our hero to 3bet. On all streets we see the same: villain bets as if he has something, while our hero calls with his unimproved pair of deuces. Even the river has the same sequence, and when the cards are shown, we can see our hero was right: his opponent shows just ace-high for djforever scooping the pot with a mere pair of deuces.

Runner-up: In this hand, AndrewSong plays a $5/$10 full-ring game with an effective stack of $940. He is dealt A8 and flat-calls a raise from the button. AndrewSong misses the 776 rainbow flop, but check-raises and villain calls. The turn brings a queen of hearts, and Andrew fires $185 into $255, villain calls. Yet another seven falls on the river, making it a three-of-a-kind board. This time, Andrew checks and lets villain take action, which he does by making a half-pot bet. Andrew spots the bluff and makes the call. Villain shows a K-high hand and our hero takes the 121bb pot.

** Low/Mid Stakes hand of the Week ** - 3/2 - 3/8

The winning hand of this week was posted by maryn. He's playing a $0.50/$1 heads-up match deep stacked. Our hero holds AJ of hearts and 3-bets villain preflop raise. Villain calls and both players see the TT3 with two diamonds flop. They check and see a six of spades fall on turn. Check-check again. The river is a four of clubs. Maryn checks and waits for villain's move. He randomly moves all-in, making an 8 times pot bet and putting our hero to a decision. Regardless of holding just AJ in a very deep pot, our hero calls villain's monstrous bet and wins the 362bb pot!

Runner-up: gawdawaful always posts interesting hands in our HOTW threads, and this is one of them. It is a €1/€2 6-handed game and our hero has a €275 effective stack. Holding AQo in the BB position, gawdawaful 3-bets villain raise and gets called. He misses the J73 with two hearts flop, but fires a barrel and villain calls. The turn is a two of diamonds, gawdawaful fires a second barrel and villain makes the call again. When another jack falls on the river, gawdawaful decides to check and wait for villain's action. Villain shoves all-in for €189, but gawdawaful sees through his soul and makes the call with just A-high. Villain shows 65 of hearts for busted flush and straight draws, which means our hero wins the 275bb pot.

Low/Mid Stakes Hand of the Week - 2/23 - 3/1

This hand was posted by anarki and shows him calling over 3 streets in a deep pot holding A-high and a weak kicker. He holds A5 of spades and calls teacuppoker's raise. Villain acts behind him and makes a 3bet, the original raiser folds and our hero calls. The flop comes 942 with two diamonds and villain fires a c-bet, which is called by anarki. The turn brings a ten of clubs, making a flush draw of clubs possible as well. Villain fires a second barrel, anarki just calls. The river pairs the board with a ten of spades, meaning neither flush draw could be completed. Villain bets $296 into $730, putting anarki to a decision. Anarki holds just A-high, but he knows he has the best hand and proceeds to call and take down a 305bb pot, as villain turns up 78 of diamonds.

Runner-up: The next hand shows STR3NGTH playing a $1/$2 6-MAX table with A2 of clubs. Under-the-gun, str3nght raises and finds himself facing a 3-bet from the BB, which he calls. Villain bets the K83 with two spades flop, and calls a raise from str3nght. The turn pairs the board with a three of spades, which makes a flush possible. Once again, villain bets, gets raised by our hero and makes the call. A seven of hearts falls on the river. Villain makes weak 1/6 pot bet and waits for our hero. Str3ngth represents a made hand for the third time and shoves all-in, forcing hero out of the hand. His decision of keep bluffing with just air despite of being called twice before made him win a close to 200bb pot!

** Tournament Performances ** 2/23 - 3/8

The Tournament Performances award of this bulletin goes to Ket, obviously. He worked his way up to a 5th place finish in the first edition of the EPT Berlim, earning a €210,000 payout. During the course of the tournament Ket made some awesome plays, as you can see in this bluff. Congratulations Ket, we are sure you will take one of the big ones down in the future!

We also have to mention Luna_Bluffgood's sick score. He won the $55 Daily Eighty Grand at PokerStars for a $21,451. The tournament had 2724 entrants and ran for eight hours. It definitely took him a lot of patience and focus, so we are happy for him. Congrats!
