<img align="right" src=http://www.liquidpoker.net/user_pictures/daa8f.iveyvddurrr.jpg style="margin:5px; border: 1px solid black;">There seems to be a lot going on in the pokerworld these days. Online, all eyes seemed to be on the WCOOP which came to an end, but live the action is moving to London. The World Series of Poker Europe has started with some smaller events before the Main Event starts next Saturday. After that most players will stay in London for the EPT London event. So without a doubt, London is "the place to be" for the upcoming weeks. That's also one of the main reasons for Full Tilt Poker to record its Full Tilt Poker's Million Dollar Cash Game in London, and it has reached a new milestone: the biggest televised pot in poker history took place!

It has a very sick line-up, with Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, Gus Hansen, Mike Matusow, Allen Cunningham, Patrik Antonius and Tom "durrrr" Dwan all on one table. Of course most eyes were on Ivey, Dwan and Antonius, as they frequently play eachother online and are considered the best cashgame players on this table, and neither of them seemed to play with scared money. After 20 hours of play in this $1000/$2000 game with $200 ante the other players had already left the table when the biggest pot in televised poker history was played.

With 2.2 million dollar between the three of them on the table, there was a fair chance that the old record of $919,600 from High Stakes Poker Season 5 (when Barry Greenstein and Tom Dwan got it in, Barry holding aces, Dwan holding top pair and a flushdraw) being broken was pretty big. Once again Dwan was involved in this pot. After he raised preflop, Phil Ivey reraised from the small blind for Antonius to fold. Dwan made the call and on the Qc5c3d flop we see Ivey make a continuation bet of $40,000. Once again Dwan calls and on the 4h turn, Ivey bets again, after which Dwan raises to $240,000 for Ivey to shove. Durrrr insta-calls with 7h6h for the nut-straight while Ivey got coolered and is drawing dead with his wheel straight, holding Ac2h. The massive $1,100,000 pot means it's the biggest televised pot in poker history!

This show will be aired in January 2010 on Sky Sports in the UK. Soon after airing it is likely to be found on Pokertube and such.

We have now sunk to a depth at which restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men.

if only Ivey had u around to give this tip...

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol

Brutal for Ivey. Durrrr could've been making a move with any two cards, and with a straight you cant throw it away.

Just sick
