Daniel Negreanu, a member of Team PokerStars Pro, who is now at the top of the all-time live poker tournament winnings list after he took home more than $8 million with a second place finish in the biggest buy-in tournament of the 2014 World Series of Poker, the Big One for One Drop, revealed his 2014 World Series of Poker stats.
Daniel played in 32 events during 2014 WSOP and won an impressive $8,545,408. He also showed exactly how profitable he was, deducting all the buy-ins from the tournaments, which closed his pure profit $7,055,001.
Daniel posted on his Twitter (@RealKidPoker):
Been number crunching.
My 2014 so far:
Events 44
Cashes 12
Hours 416
Buyins $2,931,661
Payouts $10,247,143
Profit $7,315,482 With those numbers, over the course of 292 hours of play his win rate was $24,160/hour. Quite decent, huh?
However, it's worth a mention that those numbers are hugely inflated by the Big One for One Drop tournament - it had a $1,000,000 buy-in, and Daniel won exactly $8,288,001 for his runner-up spot, taking his lifetime earnings to $29,796,381. That means that without One Drop event, he would be barely in plus, making around $25,000. |
