what are people doing in this spot pre typically knowing that you will get 4b without AAxx but not sure exact how wide 4b range is (AK87ds not sure about those type)

with such a tiny preflop raise, a 4b (assuming it goes pot pot) will only be 25% of effective stack sizes (18bb more to you), still have a lot of room postflop to take advantage of your position

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

I agree. It's like your dad asking you for help on how to barbeque. You're like, sure dad I'll help, but you know this better than I do.

i think call maybe the worst option since we give blinds chances to squeeze or flat, either way we dont like it
3bet we can squeeze villian and still play post profitable even facing 4bet
against tough/tight villain fold probably my standard play here but maybe too tight

I think call is best option. This is a good hand in position. And we get a chance to get away with out bloating the pot to big. But we are in position so it also gives us a chance to build the pot easily. i"d like to see a flop with this hand. Also cuz the money will probably go in if we flop well, durian pretty strong here. I dont see a reason to build the pot with low suited connectors if we dont have too.

I see durian getting it in here pre, so basically I dont like this hand on teh flop if i dont have eqity because i believe at this point we are already up against a pair or better.

edit.: Better being TTxx TJQK++.

And putting 25% of my stack in preflop seems loose with this hand?

This is not a hand we want a high spr/multiway pot with (which could happen if we flat), we are much better off HU and with a lower SPR... There's not a single part of our hand structure that's nutty. Personally I'd probably fold this, but if you play I think it's a 3bet unless the blinds are gigantic nits that will hardly ever factor into the hand.

Hm.. Off-suite socks..

I know how I personally play this spot all the time but you have to remember that your probably not 100 percent right all the time no matter what stakes you play, curious to hear some others input
