This bet sizing is very good for bluffs or value, it's the best sizing for an overall betting range. It allows for cheaper flop and turn bluffs, and when going for value it allows the opponent to make bad shoves or calldowns thinking that he's being bluffed a lot. Lower level players don't think about balancing bet sizes etc and are just like OMG A MILLION DRAWS ON THE TURN AND I HAVE STRONG VALUE HAND IM ALL IN FUCCCCCCCCCK when they'd never do it as a bluff. This is $3/$6 not 25c/50c, you have to give people more respect for being able to notice bet sizing differences and pick up tells so you have to be somewhat balanced.

One day good. One day bad. And some days, even hope
