Well, i am also quite clueless in this hand.
I feel that after i re-raise i should get it in on this flop.
However after he leads i am pretty sure he had me beat...

If you have some kind of read on him that he's a huge nit then you probably shouldn't even 3bet JJ preflop, but once you 3bet and get this board, either call down or raise get it in.

Don't fold.

well u don't have to get it in on the flop, reraise then see what happens further and then decide, flatting is also fine as long as you are planning to raise turn.

I dunno how many pokerstars keeps around nowadays, but back when I played there you could check all hands played at the table since you joined so I'd just try to find all his big hands and look at them before I decide what I want to do. But at minimum you should call.

This is why stats are so important
Without stats I still wouldnt fold it.
First of all there are enough idiots who would play it like this with A9, tens or even a smaller pair.
If the villain has AA/KK or a set of nines he most probably would have check raised the flop. He might have played queens or jacks this way.
So without stats I would put him on QQ/JJ/1010/A9 (or even worse) and a slim chance of AA/KK. Since you beat the majority of his range and since it is 25NL I wouldnt fold it and am willing to go allin on the flop.
By shoving you could push him off QQ (what would be an extreme tight fold on 25NL) and by reraising to 12 you might rope a dope his tens or a9 (if he is an idiot he would call an allin as well). My choice is reraise to 12 and call if he shoved.

Moreover,
A fronbet is most of the times a sign a weakness instead of a sign of strengt.
Some players will frontbet their set in a multiway pot to disguise the strength of their hand, but as this is not multiway the chances the he frontbets with a monster are slim
