I used to play plo 5 years ago with heavy swing
And never really complain about it ,

And you were already playing low limit at that time
Doesn t make sense to grind for many years
In micro game , asking for bakers and don t gave other
People the chance to review other hand in the hh than yours.
you ruin this friendly website.

he will not get it. so many ppl already told him to hide his posts or make a summed post where he posts all hands in one post and so on.
i remember that he said he will post biggest winning hands and biggest loosing hands summed up but obvbiously he just lied and does not care about others and whatever nor does he care that nearly no one is commenting on his shit posts anymore.
i guess its just a matter of posts until he will get banned or just stop bc no one is answering anyways (so dont do him a favour and comment)

I honestly don't mind this; I'd rather see LP expand the recent-hands section and split it into omaha hands vs holdem hands

lebowski   Greece. Nov 11 2014 10:02. Posts 9205

since the hand section is what keeps this place going I wish they'd expand a bit on it too, too bad it's prob not going to happen

new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...

I dont mind him posting hands, at least he posts decisions along with the beats.

What I dont like is the turn lead. This card is way better for his range than yours, I really dont like leading on such a card, especially when it doesnt mesh well at all with how we'd play a strong hand.

Hm.. Off-suite socks..

maybe put a "new hands" selection along with a "trending hands" selection?

And over 12 hours later all of them are still visible. Who's magical hands am I supposed to be worried about bumping? I get the point, but Lemon, Raszi, and others who post hands in session do exactly the same thing. Many people do it in fact.

I could try to post a few less, but there was literally like 8 hands posted over a 3 hour span... nobody even posted another hand in between... and that's during PRIMETIME lol. The site is dead man..

You want to be more polarized when making this turn lead (I know this is the big play now when oop and the turn pairs the 2nd(especially) or 3rd card).

Santafairy   Korea (South). Nov 11 2014 11:35. Posts 2226

no dude

you seriously posted so many hands you bumped your own hands off

the site is not dead other posters are just more considerate

andrewsong's 1 hand had a bigger pot than all your hands combined

and raszi is awesome

lemon's last hand had more replies than all your hands combined. and that's ignoring the fact that you're the only one who replies to them

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

I think Benjamin has gotten a little better about flooding actually, nobody else was really posting. Could still get better though.

I think the expanded HH section is a great idea since that Is by far the part of the site that is the most active still.

Possibly make a rule that the HH section can be filled with no more than 1/2 of your hands at any given time. So even if no one had posted in a while Benjamin could only fill half of the column and not flood the old hands all of the way out. If Benjamin wanted to post more hands he would have to hide ones already posted or wait for others to post more hands before he gets a turn again.

traxamillion   United States. Nov 11 2014 11:42. Posts 10468

If there is a good hand up there with good discussion I don't mind it hanging up in the HH section all day so that everyone can get a look at it. If the HH section has a bunch of different hands from different people I am likely to read through all of them. The last thing I want to see is one person's hands filling the whole section. Even if some are good I probably only even look at the one or two with the most comments. Just be considerate people.

just simply this: new hands / trending hands
make "new hands" the default so everyone gets their chance to have their hands trend
though, maybe a set amount of hands per hour/day as a limit to prevent flooding new hands

It's true that you can flood the HH section with hands but true flooding is kinda rare IMO. To me that's when someone posts 8+hands in like 1 minute and honestly even then they have to be kind of a retard for me to care. Ask yourself this question: If TalentedTom, Raszi, AndrewSong or any other high stakes sicko posted 12 hands in an hour, would you even think about complaining about spam? What if they posted them in 30 seconds? I think most wouldn't because you want to learn from and in some cases worship those players. Every hand posted has merit for discusson though. If you were to post 10 hands over the space of an hour of play, how is that spam? It appears that way because of the lack of volume but it's not spam. The problem is the lack of volume which YOU can fix by posting YOUR hands. It's a community, you know? Some people just post a lot of hands and have done it for years as Bejamin1 does. I used to post 20+ hands per day nearly every day as did a lot of other posters and nobody complained. The function of the tool is primarily to allow people to post hands for review and if they choose they can post them publicly. If people want to comment on them etc that's fine and often there are discussions.

It would be cool to see some features like:
[ ] Show the hands with the most comments in the last 12 hours
[ ] Show only greenstar hands
[ ] Show only NL or "PLO/alt" hands e.g. razz etc

Doing that though might limit how useful the tool is for new people on the site (in terms of feedback) but that might be ok.

Fuck the word "trending". I really hate that word and don't think the sensationalist social media connotation should be used here.

Looks like my flooding has resulted in a productive discussion with some great ideas for how to improve the hand display task bar. I like it . You're welcome. lol

Edit: And true that, 8-10 hands over like a 3 hour time-span is hardly flooding. Like it's been said many people used to post 20 hands a day. It just looks that way because nobody bloody posts anything anymore. That being said, I could reduce it to like 3 hands per day or something but it all just seems silly. The other solutions suggested are far superior IMO.

I mean one simple adjustment even - Hands with 2+ comments cannot be bumped by hands with 0 comments. And then just have a forum rule that you can't make more than one initial comment on your hand posted. A 48 hour ban as a consequence if you do that seeing as it would mess with the intended purpose of what stays and what gets filtered down.

IF YOU NEED HELP ON A HAND , POST IT.

DO NOT GIVE A SHIT WHAT ANYONE THINKS.

Personally, when I am bored, I like to give some advice and go through hands, here I bet bet fold all day, when he calls turn u are literally dead lol, you're hand looks better than it is here, and its obvious you are bluffing with it, but its just bad in this spot.

i prolly bet x/x x/f. or bet x/x x/ai sometimes as well

anyways - just try to keep the posts interesting.

i used to post every single fucking hand.

now i rarely do that unless im playing a new game or something.

you are a plo player, no reason to post pots like this other than for us to tell you to control this, you beat draws and the turn just owns the hell out of you so find better spots in zoom or bet bigger on flop turn and jam riv if u wanna go monster.

lol - i love it - HES FLOODING OUR HH FORUM WHERE NOBODY POSTS!!! LOL, who cares. but yah, theres over a million players man. Your 1 hand makes no difference in the world, same as the hands that cost me or anyone else, or make me money or anyone else.

We use the LP to get better in SITUATIONS.

I used to use the LP to feed ego and battle, troll, that was stupid.

Using LP to become better player is literally here if you have a good personality you can easily get in with good players and learn for free too, to those that are looking to learn. I've taught like 5 ppl from LP how to play for free over the last 4-5 years.

lol - dun ban me - but if ppl went off on me for "posting to many hands" - I'd tell em all to go fuck themselves. I thought this forum was to learn, hand histories teach. A new plo player MAY NEED TO GO THROUGH ALL THESE B4 PLAYING, so the stupid pots are actually important, since everyone IS NOT a super mega pro at every form of poker. This site needs as many up to date hands as possible.

OK HF !!!@!
