it seems on average you do very well when you slowplay, for example if you flatted AAxx pre here and just flatted all 3, compared to 3-betting and your opponents play fit or fold vs your range (end end up doing better then they should)
seems like people are over-compensating the betting lead at these stakes
even if you had KKxx here slowplaying and flatting down almost no matter what may have higher ev then reraising |

I think about that a lot, although part of that is maybe because my 3-betting range isn't really that wide. I also find I'm a lot more successful 3-betting hands like KQJ10 /w 1 suit in position than say AAxx, especially AAxx out of position. That may just be needing to be more brave about stacking off or calling down OOP though. I certainly think about what you're talking about often. |
