i call and donk river but i lead flop everytime , u can call c/r riv vs lag opponents repping like 88-JJ or a stingy queen or TJ/AJ |

bet flop is fine, check is also fine
reason to check is that our hand doesn't need much protection, so its pot control, bluff induction, and way to get value on later streets |

you have to be careful. This sizing looks like he wants to raise to see showdown on river. So we are either clicking it back to keep the lead. Or calling and donking river to get a confused call out of aq. |

I like betting flop vs checking better since we're betting all our bluffs on this flop to fold out all lower pairs and air and giving us a chance to bluff out one pair type hands on later streets. I only like checking flop here is you have some certainty that villain can 3 or at least 2 barrel bluff here and that requires some history or villain to be obviously overly aggressive. I don't see folding as on option on the turn and I don't see ourselves being able to represent any bluffs on the turn by bet/raising (we'd actually look ridiculously strong) so i would just call turn and check call river as played. |
