youre getting 2.5:1, i realize he has KT or T8 a whole lot, but....
vs a straight youre ~20% (ohjio will have some blockers but mysterio may have had none and is likely ~8 outs out out of 40 cards instead).
vs a non straight youre ~90% (some 2 pair, some sets, and occasionally a bad shove like QTcc T7cc which actually has outs but there are so few combos of these that it doesnt lower you much).
.20X + .9(1-X) = .3
.7x = .6
x = .857
if he has a non straight 15% youre getting odds. just cant fold for 400 more. if you had 150bb to start its a lot closer and likely a fold. |

I think he has a straight 100% of the time, is it a call?
well maybe 99.9% or something ridic like that, all made hands would just call obv, only thing that COULD possibly jam is some T7cc or QTcc and then again... prob would just call to see river given odds he's getting |

no. breakeven is 85-90% area depending on exact % you are vs him with the blockers. |

one somewhat added benefit of calling: if he does have KT and ohjio has KQcc or QTcc or even a slowplayed T8 its possible you get an extra call behind and increase your odds. dont know how likely it is for that to happen, but i do know that if it was PLO and i was actually 100% he had a straight id still probably call because of that possibility. think ohjio has AQ AJ a lot more here though and probably just folds the draws anyway, but theres a chance! |
