Sup i was watching my friend playing lastnight, he was at a FT of a 6-max mtt, blinds were 1/2k he was with 85k chips on UTG with AKoff, he mini-raises for 4k (yuuuuuuuuup) and utg+1 calls, utg+2 raises to 10k and button make it 20k, he folds.... i said that i would jam it pre, i mean put a AT,AJ on the utg+2... i believe he is making 10k anyway with this range of hand, like KQ maybe suited connectors, some pp, and the button was an loose aggro player that have been active in the last few hands that i saw...

I think its way +EV shoving, can you guys please give your opinion? It was FT bubble and i believe he did that based on ICM or maybe money was important to him...

Thanks!

I mean i believe that Utg+2 is playing a dominated hand a lot of times since he is not cold calling with AT/AJ/AQ, KQ... with already 2 players on it... problably he want to isolate to play hu..

hard to tell without stack sizes and further information. the shove might be +cev given the dynamics, but certainly not a standard icm shove imo.
running it through wiz is not a possibility given the amount of players involved iirc, neither is the structure available.

stack sizes are very much needed in order to break it down.

i would raise 4k - 7k utg here and 100% fold to a 4-bet unless one of the raisers is 3-betting or 4-betting loose. A min-raise in this spot isn't bad by any means depending on your image, tendencies and other table dynamics. But if your friend doesn't have much tournament experience, a min-raise probably isn't the best decision here, 4.5k - 5k is probably more suitable. But like others said, it's hard to tell exactly what to do here with the amount of information provided.

NeillyJQ: I really wanted to prove to myself I could beat NL200, I did over a small sample, and believe Ill be crushing there in the future.

This depends on the stack sizes. If everyone has 200K u can happily ship, if everyone has 30K u can happily ship, and if you are a middle stack with a couple of shorties and a couple of people who have abut as much as you it is most likely a fold.

if everyone has over 80k its an easy ship unless they're complete nits

mostly player dependent, folding AK isn't bad, nor is jamming it in, play dependent is all.

give there stats etc and we can make a solid analysis here

Just remember you need to be god damn sure about their tendencies. -Artanis11 http://www.pocketfives.com/profiles/neillyaa/
